Wow, Eowyn...the scene with Dru was absolutely brilliant. You captured her perfectly, and Spike's feelings about her, too. I love that you never take short cuts through any of your characters' complexities. I can't wait for the next update!

well she was awfully nice, surprisingly so considering she hadn't met clem before... :) and poor spike, i wonder what dru has in mind (beyond the obvious) and what the mysterious demon-summoner has to do with it :P great chapter, love, looking forward to more :)

Firstly, yay I'm so glad this story is back. And was very happy to find two chapters (I must've missed your first update) all waiting.

It's already getting interesting and of course, because it's you, it's wonderfully well written (heh, check out the alliteration).

Dru, huh? Uh-oh.....I suppose Spie would have an easier life, though, if he just loved Dru again and went back to being her puppy. Everything about being arounf Buffy is hard, and rarely happy.

I had a feeling it would be Dru. Spike is in for trouble. You know...the human body's nervous system only knows when something feels good. Poor Spike couldn't control his reactions to Dru's actions. He could outright HATE her and still respond. Nerve endings know no love or recognition except pain or pleasure. Poor guy's going to feel weird though.

Good update. Jackass Scoobies were just like this on screen...totally dismissing Spike's help that summer (and before) and not giving a rat's hiney about him once Buffy was back.
