Chapter: Deadly Boy

Dru was tortured by the best. I only hope he doesn't trully give in to her. Think himself not worthy of Buffy's love. Hope it's sunrise soon.
Yeah, Dru learned from the best... but Spike was schooled by Angelus, too, so he can probably stand up to it better than most.

Oh, poor Spike! though in all fairness ("I'll just track her down and torture her until she loves me again", or however that line went) I suspect that Spike probably doesn't mind in the same way that a real person would.

And it's absolutely in character behavior for Drusilla; nicely done. You've captured her sense of cruelty and twisted obsession beautifully.

But Yikes! Poor Spike!
I think Spike's probably got a higher tolerance for torture than humans (especially when it occasionally turns sexual) but I certainly wouldn't say he enjoys it... so yeah, poor Spike indeed! Thanks for the review!

Well I can add that to the list of things to discuss in therapy (oh I'm sure I've needed it for aages! :P).

Seriously though, although painful, that was, like everything you write, very well written. Very realistic thing for Dru to do and in character. You manage to balance the crazy, so to speak, very well- I've seen her written completely loopy, or too sane, it's hard to get her just right, but you have.

Now the question is- what's Buffy's idea? And more importantly will it work? Cannot wait.
Thanks for the review! So glad you like my Dru... she's a hard one to write. And good luck with the therapy. ;)

Well, maybe I'm just a sicko, but I found the Spike/Dru torture sort of hot and fitting. It's how I would expect them to throw down when they were feeling particularly deviant. I wasn't squicked by it at all =D No therapy for me, yay! You have a lovely eye for description, but I think your strongest suit is definately the dialogue. I can't say that I know what's going on exactly since I just popped in to read this part, but when I get a free moment, I'll tuck into Love's Bitch.
Ha... maybe you are a sicko. ;) But your reasoning does make sense, and the avoidance of therapy is a good thing. Now shoo! And go read the preceding story first! ;) Thanks for the review!

hope the scoobies don't plan too long, there won't be anything to save. very good read, thank you.
Believe it or not, it's only been one night... Dru knows how to pack a lot of torture into a little time...

Um...ouch? Thanks for the warning, you were right, that was intense. Very well done though, and it makes me REALLY look forward to Buffy rescuing him...please???
Yeah... "ouch" pretty much sums it up. :) Thanks for the review - and it looks like Buffy's got a plan for the rescuing. :)

poor, poor spike....dru's one sick puppy...and i really hope buffy saves him soon... :( good for dawnie for coming up with what i hope is a good idea...looking forward to seeing what happens next, love (i think :P)
"I think"? You, of all people, not sure you wanna read the torture? Ha! But, lucky for Spike, it seems like Buffy's got a plan. :)

Dru really does know how to get what she wants. But come on Spike. Please hang on, Buffy is on her way.
Well... maybe not so much. If Dru wanted to win Spike back, she'd probably have been more successful if she took a more loving and less painful approach. Spike just wants to be loved, and "tortured til he likes me again" isn't the way to win him over.

Poor Spike, getting burnt and being teased. That has too suck.
Yeah, pretty much...

Nicely done torture scene. Your Dru is superb, too.
Thanks, TC! That means a lot, coming from one of the queens of torture. ;)

Oh my! Lol. Poor Spike. Yeah the torture scenes were difficult to read, but as with anything with you, they were well written. Thank you for the great chapter.
Thanks! Glad you thought so. I'm not one for drawing out the pain and suffering (physically, anyway), so it shouldn't be difficult for too much longer.

Oh my!! Poor Spike!! Now I see what you meant. Buffy'd better get there soon, or there might not be much of Spike to save...
See, you thought I was kidding about that therapy thing... lol. Thanks for the review!

oh this is not good for Spike.

I am so glad that Giles is wanting to help, and yay Xander for reminding everyone that Spike is a Vampire so a time rescue would be out even if he still got his jab in there.

Loved it.
Yeah, eventually their better halves win out, and they agree to help rescue Spike. :)

Ouch.

You can drive your enemy nuts if you conduct raiding parties, but never let them touch you. Like being pecked to death.
Heh... interesting strategy... Thanks for the review!

Ah Dru learned from the master (Angelus) well. Now we see why Spike thought tying HER up and torturing her back into loving him would work....that's the way her mind works. Not happening with Spike though. He's not twisted no matter how his body may respond, his heart is Buffy's.

I really want to smack the crap out of the scoobies and Giles. Spike EARNED their help and support over and over and they are being asses. Willow and Tara came around but it shouldn't have taken them any time to agree to help at all! Giles and Xander are worthless gits, especially Giles after the dragon disaster...SPIKE pulled her back frmo that blunder and this is how Giles repays him?

Great update.

I think torturing Dru WOULD have worked... but I don't think Spike actually did it. (He definitely didn't in my series, it's never really mentioned in the show.) Spike was never really the torturing type - even when he tortures Angel, he hires someone else to do it - and especially not the women he loved.

Thanks for the review!
