This is good. And really spooky. It's strange to think that Buffy wouldn't protect Willow - but also very believable.

Dispite Spikes defence of her, she is responsible for Willows death. Angel was her priority, not anyone else. Xander has the right to hate her right now. Surprised Spike thought all of this was in the distant future. One more and I'm all caught up, really happy I'm getting back to all of my stories, I've missed them so much.
yeah...i think buffy is definitely deserving of some sympathy here, but also of some anger...she did make a serious error in judgment here

you have xander and giles down pat. it's all buffy's fault. they wouldn't let her talk to red. xander took her home and left her. but buffy didn't act quickly enough. god! giles and jenny are going looking for red? and when one of them dies or is turned, that will be buffy's fault as well? if your muse permits feed xander and giles to angel, save jenny. excellent read, as always, thank you.

Ooh- update. Didn't even notice until I decided to respond to your last chapter and got horribly confused ;O
I'm shocked that no one else sympathizes with big, funny Xander. Though Willow made a hugely idiotic move, yeah, I didn't like Buffy's insensitivity either. I think Xander's reaction are not only spot on, but justified as well.

yeah, i agree with your viewpoint on this one, love....xander's reaction is not exactly sensitive to the fact that buffy's hurting, too, but it's very understandable...thanx so much for your kind review, love :)

Well, being able to know the future... there has to be a price for that, right? A progressed timetable was something Dru and Willow had to pay for. And poor Xander... I have no idea how he's gonna take it once he knows for sure. He's going to lose two best friends :(
yeah, they're paying a heavy price...and xander's going to have a hard go of it, though you're the first one who's actually seemed to have much sympathy for him (besides me :P) lol

Very emotional chapter...I'm so glad that Buffy is learning to trust Spike, and that they can begin to take comfort in one another. I'm also very curious to see what you do with vamp!Willow...I'm pretty sure that whatever I might guess, you'll do something completely different! :)

I'm not understanding the dynamic of how things changed so fast so I'm eagerly looking forward to an explanation.
okay, i'll try my best to explain without giving to much away :P
there haven't been a lot of actual changes so far, at least not that have been revealed ;)
but as for willow's death being sped up...had spike not been there to stop her, buffy would have allowed angel into the house, and angel would have not been out there for willow to find, and therefore she would not have been killed then; i'm not going to go into the events that *would* have happened too much yet (more will be revealed later)...but that's what threw the timing off :P

Didn't Buffy rescue Spike from the mansion? They should have checked that Angel was there. He needed to get away quick, so he'd go somewhere familiar.
Spike has to know Willow's dead just from the scent in that alley. There would be fear and blood, besides the personal scents of Willow and Angel.
And Jenny and Giles aren't doing a locator spell? It would be easy for either of them, and faster than running all over creation!

yeah, she did rescue him from there, but that's not where angel went...and at this point in canon, the scoobies weren't to the point of routinely performing magic to solve problems...jenny never really did much actual magic in the show, and i didn't feel like going that route at this point

Fabulous update. Xander being brutally blunt with Buffy is a new one! For once his venom is directed at her instead of Spike....I kind of hope he doesn't turn completely against her though. It would be sad for her to lose BOTH her friends in this verse.
Glad the visions can be "altered" to a degree. Maybe now Buffy will listen a bit to keep the worst from happening.
I still expect Spike to face more hell at the hands of Angel though. I think Buffy has finally accepted that her Angel isn't "good" anymore though.

Great chapter. I hope Xander doesn't let his emotions get him killed when he finds out what happens to Willow. Hopefully Buffy begans accepting the truth about Angel soon enough.

Great update. I am loving this story, Spike's not so tortured and Buffy's not so bitchy.. :) Makes me remember when Buffy was more likeable before the bitterness set in. Only problem is my like/dislike for Buffy are ping-ponging like crazy cuz of your other story "White Magic". But, I'll be okay..don't worry..lol.

OK, now I'm dying to know what happens both in this world and in te vision Spike had. (It's different from canon, right?)
