Poor Buffy - can't somebody get her a nice gin and tonic to drink instead of that wretched scotch.

Oh my God! DoS, this story is the bomb! Poor Spike and Willow! Buffy needs to learn who she can trust, and she needs to learn fast... why do I have a feeling that Xander is going to lose BOTH of his best friends before this is over? What about Willow? Will she be vampy evil Willow, or kinder gentler vampy Willow? I can't wait to find out! :) Great story, great plot!! It's wonderful!

I can't believe you updated so fast. How can you write so well, so quickly? This was a great chapter...an interlude of sweetness between these two. I loved drunk Buffy. This scene showed the beginnings of trust (from Buffy) and tenderness (from Spike) so beautifully. I know there's lots of angst on the horizon, so I'm glad you gave us some gentle moments first... :)

That was intense. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Great plotline and character development, and I like that Buffy can learn a lesson before she does things like in Season 6 that destroyed Spike. I hope all of them see who Spike really is. I'm also very curious about Xander's new role heavy on the hatred, and if Jenny will curse Willow with a soul. I hope Angel's real face is shown and Buffy isn't blinded by denial and love, though it'll be a fight.

I hope she remembers what Spike told her. I also hope that she does not go down this road with Angelus. It would be too heartbreaking. I hope that Ms. Calendar and Giles find Willow and stake her.
