Great reading this story again - love how you turn all the characters and their relationships around. 

I really just don't get why they haven't at least tried the soul spell in case it does make a difference.  Makes no sense not to.

Love this chapter especially. What a nice turn around - and really unexpected. Also liked Jenny being the one to see things for what they are, she is a much under-used character.

Spike controlling Angel? Ooh- serious case of Spangel gutterbrain, lol. But, what I did notice is this- Spike being a master vampire with over one hundred years under his belt, versus a newly vamped Willow of only, what? Two days. And yet Buffy fears for his safety. That just *screams* "I have feelings for you," lol. Can't wait to see when Xander hears this news...

So...is Angel up for a significant change now? Hopefully he'll turn around and help Spike against Willow now.

This twist of Spike being a Sire is amazing! I love the stories that delve into vampire lore such as claims or the bonds between vamps. As weak-willed as Angel is now, I don't doubt he'll cling to his Sire and hope to be taken care of. There might be a prideful anger somewhere when Buffy is there to see it, but that's more Angelus.
I'm glad the visions Spike received aren't of the future we already know of, and how to stop, on the television show. This new future and world, basically, is a lot more interesting and has a lot of possibility. Willow's magic boost is also a new and dreadful turn.
I hope Buffy finds Spike before she stumbles onto Willow!

Great update. A clued in Buffy (okay, only half there but at least she has purchased her first vowel). Jenny to help Giles keep a grip and not go uberWatcher....on the right track at least even if they are bound to be facing more trouble ahead.

Going to be interesting with the role reversal there. Angel never had much control did he? He gets ONE KISS from Buffy and vamps out, he is offered her blood to save him from the poison and nearly drains her! Compare that to Spike who was severely beaten several times and didn't go game face and his leaping back about 10 feet when he licked her blood under the trigger from the FE.....different altogether! Maybe Angel will learn a bit of control with his new sire.

I can't wait to see what happens when Buffy finds Willow. I'm kinda hoping Willow beats her up rather thoroughly - that might wake Xander up to the reality of the situation now.
I enjoyed Buffy and Jenny's conversation and Giles' dawning realization of what Buffy may have done.
