Yeah, more Dawn; love the character, and always enjoyed her interactions with Spike; can't wait til she's reunited with her sister! Great chapter, but no Spuffy! Need Spuffy!! LOL!

Good for Dawn. What a fitting tribute to Spike, Docs. I love that writers continue to show Dawn as a smart and resourceful girl. Spike helper her so much. Great update, thanks.

ok, so I wrote this big long review...then the computer ate it. It even came back with "thank you for leaving a review" or whatever it says to acknowledge receipt. Oh well. In a nutshell:
I'm so glad to see an update on this fic! Cool reason you have invented for the whole split thing. Really wondering if you even CAN seperate the girl from the Key.
On the last chapter - you seem to say that William was Angel's first soul, that Angel has lost his soul a few times since he was first cursed (and how did he get it back??) and that the soul he had when Buffy first met him was William's. This seems mutually exclusive...where did I get mixed up?
Hopefully this one makes it to the database...

Hi BT. Thanks for your review - even if it is the abridged version. Sorry if the soul thing has you stumped. In my imagination It was William's soul that was cursed into Angelus by the gypsies and stayed with him till his night of passion with Buffy. He was then resouled by Willow with a different soul just before getting sucked into Acathla (work with me here) Once Angel had settled in Los Angeles he lost his soul twice more - once as a result of a 'Happy' pill and again by the magic of a Shaman. I like to think that whatever soul he possessed at the time took the opportunity to scarper and let another one take its place. Well that's my theory and I'm trying to stick to it. xx

Oooo the plot thickens! So the amulet was sent so that Dawn would wear it huh? That makes sense. Knox is a bad boy no matter what universe, heh? LOL.

Just love the chapter. And I loved the imagrey of the outfit that dawn is wearing. And what in the world will she do now that she is out of the cage. Awesome chapter and really the senior partners and Harlen just never learn.
Love that you love the chapter - actually I got the outfit from trawling thru a few goth clothing sites. You too could look like Dawn - if you really wanted to.

Ah - finally caught up with the rest of this. I had no idea I'd missed so much of it. Very imaginative and a good mixture of BtVS and AtS characters. The demon and the Slayer are such fun! And without their demons Buffy and William seem to be able to conduct actual conversations that don't involve yelling and fighting. Who knew? LOL
