Chapter: Chapter 11

I have never had more than a passing interest in the Buffy series, but now I'm hooked. All I can say is more! Weyr is as skilled in her writeing as she is in any other thing she sets her mind to!
Jeez. I feel like hiding under a rock because my updates took so long. Sorry about that and thanks for the high praise!

Loving the little bit I have read of this story. Hope to see more soon.
Thanks! Sorry it took so long, but I'm back at it now.

can't stop smiling because of "carrying him around in a customized purse and feeding him beef flavored heart worm treats soon." fun chapter, thank you.
Hee, glad you liked that one. Thanks!

i'm kind of glad he wrecked the bot, though i'm not sure how it will turn out for them...great chapter, love the dynamic between spike and dawn...can't wait for more, love :)
I'm sure there'll still be some knife twisting. Glad you're liking this and apologies for the long delay.

"His heart had been dragging him against the grain of what was ‘natural’ for a vampire for so long that he was starting to feel a certain empathy for the first wolves drawn in by human fires and companionship. If he didn’t keep a sharp eye out, Dawn would be carrying him around in a customized purse and feeding him beef flavored heart worm treats soon."

This was priceless and a PERFECT description of the hold Dawn had on him apart from Buffy (even in canon IMHO). Wonderfully written as is the entire chapter.

Love the solution to Doc he imagines at the start too.

You can feel his pain at the Bot being visable while Buffy is not. Poor Spike was surely punished for having her made during that summer. That made so much sense as to why he had babysitting duty rather than patrolling all the time. I imagine he did opt for Dawn Duty whenever it got to be too much.

Poor Spike, he knows that if he completes his quest he'll dust (just his luck Buffy will come back before he does and he'll look forward to losing her all over again, this time with his death).

Excellent.

Thank you so much. I can't even write angst without snarking, so I'm always glad when my weird little jokes make an impression. Good to know the angst is going over well too.

Oh this is hurting Spike so much. I love it.
Ha! That's not a line I expect to hear everyday on a Spuffy fan site. ;-) Thanks, in the spirit it was intended.
