Methinks the thaw has arrived at last. Can't wait for more.
Yep, I think you're right. Glad you enjoyed it!

Plot bunnies giving you a hard time? Scurrying around, not wanting to get caught. Get a cage and put some nice juicy carrots in it and hopefully you'll catch them soon enough. It is a tremdous undertaking to rewrite an entire season. You can only do your best with it, just please don't leave it a WIP. Talk to your beta and see what you can come up with. You're really doing a great job, looking forward to your next posting.
It's more a problem of new plot bunnies looking an awful lot like old plot bunnies. It sounded good when I thought of it, but now I'm realizing there's only so long you can keep Buffy and Spike apart before the conflict gets repetitive. I'm a little hung up on how to end this one, and I need to do some rethinking of the next fic. Thanks for the encouragement!

awww, so glad buffy's coming around when it comes to spike and dawn's friendship...i for one am still loving this fic very much, pet, you're doing an incredible job with it...i'm looking forward to wherever you decide to take it :)
Buffy's never really had a problem with Spike and Dawn's friendship since she got back - it just got awkward after the hallucination thing, so it seemed to make sense that she'd be okay with Dawn seeing him once she was okay with seeing him herself. Thanks for the review! Still not entirely sure what I'm gonna do with it, but I'm glad you like it.

buffy communicating so well with spike? buffy dealing with kindness and understanding with dawn? are you sure the antidote worked? lovely read, thank you. sorry to read that the tale is not going where you want it. it is a very good read. while looking forward to the next chapter, it will be sad if that is the last. thanks, again, for the enjoyable read.
Well, Buffy and Spike were doing pretty well before this, so she's making an effort to be friends, even though she's not totally over it. And she and Dawn have been pretty good... since this isn't the canon season 6, Dawn hasn't been neglected. Thanks for the comments, I'm glad you're enjoying the story!

Oh that was so sweet, I can understand Dawn being angry at her father.
Thanks for the review!

I'm still lovin' this fic. I'm sorry it's not coming out the way you wanted it, though.

Naughty fic!!!! *slaps fic over the head with a newspaper*
Hee, thanks, I'm sure that'll help bring it in line. :)

I'm so glad you updated! I love this series of yours. I'm sorry to read that you think it's going badly; I can only remind you that the BTVS writing team managed FAR more plot gaps and meandering story arcs than you could EVER hope to reach here. If you stop after another chapter I'll be sad, but I'll still be grateful- it really is one of my favorite stories.
Thanks for the review! I felt like it was getting somewhat repetitive with the back and forth between Spike and Buffy, so I'm not sure how I want to continue from here. I'm glad you've enjoyed it this far, and hopefully I'll come back to it soon.

Big steps...promising, after all.
They were in such a good place before all this... it'll take effort, but maybe they can get back there.

Dawn.. armed with a dagger.. bad girl. And Spike and Buffy working on it.

Enjoyed.
Well, Spike *is* teaching her how to use it, so it should be a good thing.
