Eh she was with the Immortal so Spike had a right to stay away, she should off felt guilty for that. Also when she told him she loved him right when he was about to die... a day after she kissed angel. another reason for him to stay away

You know she has a bit of nerve being angry. That whole last year she kept showing in actions that she cared but refused to say the words till he was dying. When he asked what their closeness meant she said, "does it have to mean anything" then went playing tonsil hockey with Angel and blowing off his hurt feelings. No wonder he didn't just expect to be welcomed with open arms! Add to that all the crap Angel had to say to make it look like that "I love you" didn't mean what he wanted it to mean!

I always though that if Buffy loved him as she said (and I actually DO think she did...I blame Joss for not following through) she would have had Willow find out where he had wound up to make sure he was okay and NOT in hell...then if he was she would have tried to get him out. She didn't do any of that according to Joss so she has no right to be pissed that he didn't contact her, Immortal or not.

Hi, I just wanted to drop a line while I was reading. I really like your characterization of Spike so far in this story--mysterious and way attractive in an elusive kind of way. Also, I'm loving the inclusion of the Fates. They're a fascinating portion of mythology. I am wondering, will our intrepid slayers end up going to Athens?
