Very grown up Xander. I am impressed. The one person I was sure would be on the stake Spike train is actually calling him a friend and defending him.
I like to think they woud all have grown up quite a bit in this length of time. Even if Buffy reverted to her earlier belief that she couldn't trust a vampire.

Wow, Xander is being all supportive. I guess when Spike became human they got chummy,

oh, I can't wait til Spike comes home; he's gonna be soooo pissed!!! I hope. I love stories where Spike grows a pair. I can't wait to read the reunion between Spike and his children; update again soon, please!!!

Buffy really is messed up - even Xander accepts him and yet she doesn't know what to do.
Oh, by this time she more than knows what she wants to do. She just hasn't been able to make herself do it. Don't forget, she had no idea where Spike was or how to find him.
