Brilliant story thusfar, with lots of fine details and great dialogue. I've enjoyed all three parts of this saga and look forward to more.

I really like the series and I'm glad that you have gotten back to it because I am looking forward to reading the next part. I do hope that there will be some point when they will resolve their problems and get together. All the angst has given strength to the story and truth and credibility to their relationship. It makes it more true to their characters. I still hope they find each other in the end. I don't think you would be selling out if there was a ultimately a happy resolution. They have earned a little happiness.

It is a Spuffy story, so they'll get together in the end... just no telling when "the end" will be. :) I don't it's selling out to give them a happy resolution - in fact, I always intended them to be together at some point - but I don't want to cut to that too quickly, and miss out on all that angst and tension. :)

So glad that you are still working on this series - I have enjoyed the entire work thus far and hope that you will find you way back, not to any entire season treatment, but to working with your piece from this point on - plenty of great things to work from.

I just hope that Spike doesn't do anything that will come back to bite him. I am glad that the group is put on notice that Spike is still going to be around.
Heh, well, it's Spike, so that's pretty likely. :) But yeah, Spike's working his way into the group, slowly but surely.

I'm glad to finally see another chapter and I can still appreciate the belated holiday theme. I'm also glad you're finally over the hump and ready to do another fic in this series b/c I'm kinda hooked. Can't wait to see what happens next!!

Yeah, some things are just inescapable. Mostly, I try to deal with the same issues *without* writing everyone out of character, the way I felt season 6 was done.
