Wow, this was a great reunion fic:) I loved the dreams and the cowardly Spike:) Also loving the understanding Giles and how much your Giles was cooler than Joss' origial version:)

Thank you! It needed to be Spuffy but some angst before the big finish, but there was never any doubt that my guys would get it together in the end. And my poor boy, riddled with insecurities. He needs a big hug. I'll volunteer...

That was a great finish! Love how the first thing Buffy wanted was to prove that Spike was really there instead of the typically expected punch to the nose. And the invitation to bite her to prove she wanted all of him was a necessary touch, IMHO. Especially fond of Giles being in danger of heart failure and vowing to himself to help his slayer and her vampire!
Thank you; I just think that after yearning for so long, Buffy would want to hold him rather than hit him...although hitting would probably come at some point :) And the biting - I always have a fight with myself as to whether she would or wouldn't, but it seemed right this time, so thank you for saying that you thought so. Giles - I love him, and I'd love to have seen him be on Buffy's side no matter what his own thoughts were. I think he would have seen that Spike was what she needed in the end. Sorry - I appear to have started a rant! Anyhoo - thank you so much for reading, and for your lovely review.

Thank you Kathleen. Much appreciated. And I think that in the end, she'd accepted that she was never going to be normal and didn't need a normal man. When Spike said that she needed a little monster in her man, I totally agreed with him :)

Yeah! I'm so glad you didn't delve into any explanations of where Spike's been. This was perfect. I especially loved the little joke they played on Giles. Great story from beginning to end!
Thank you. I think the explanations would come later, if at all. Right now they're just wrapped up in each other, and Giles always struck me as a great comic character. Thanks once again, glad you enjoyed.
