I really like reading how a scene looked from the character's POV and you did a great job. great how Buffy had to cut off Spike's line about bending her over...--!! Good story. Thanks for sharing it :)

Oh, the timing!  Great start. I loved how you showed Buffy's thoughts during the scene, so it wasn't just another rewrite of what we saw on-screen. Effective to make us pay attention to the moment and realistic with Buffy's reactions... and what led to the last act. And of course Spike would realize something! Looking forward to seeing how you show the repercussions, and what will Spike think later? Not to mention Buffy! Does the fact that he kept saying her name mean anything to her? How will things change from canon and what will we see?
So many questions, really wanting to know how you choose to answer!
