Looks like she's looking for reassurance before she takes the plunge with another vampire. I don't know if she even realizes that yet, but I'd be willing to bet Joyce does.

Interesting how they take time comforting each other about their personal demons.  although the cause for their sadness and pain is different they definetly are showing some real compassion towards one another.  And joyce's mothering is sure to be that extra needed help.
