Thanks for the story. It was really heart warming :) Though I didn't get a part about Spike's chip. Both Buffy and Spike knew it wasn't working with her, so why were they discussing his chip again?

Very cute and romantic! However Spike's chip doesn't work on Buffy in Season 6... but I'll give you artistic freedom just 'cause it was so beautiful :)

I loved it! Good for Tara to get Buffy thinking clearly.
I'm just a bit puzzled by the reference to the chip not firing if there was no intent to hurt, when they started sparring. If we're in season 6 (which from the context we must be) the chip doesn't work on Buffy anyway...

 It was a good story but I had one problem. Spike's chip did not work on Buffy by the time they began their relationship. I think it would have had just as much, if  not more impact, if she was able to trust him not to hurt her even without the chip.

Lovely!  So typical of Buffy to think the words but not vocalize then finally let her fists speak for her...sigh...good think Spike eventually reads her right LOL.

Come to think of it my husband has a habit of thinking and not verbalizing too....I need to learn Spike's trick *G*.

Very much in character here had she decided to listen to her own heart for a change.
