Now then... I've been thinking. We're meant to assume Angel is in LA 'cos of that postcard, but we never found out what happened to Dru, did we. I don't suppose that Angel's got her tucked away somewhere? I can't help thinking that Angel wouldn't just give up that easily, and wonder what he might be plotting.

I wanted to review this chapter before moving on to the next two because I loved it so much!

I just wish Buffy could somehow understand that Spike is in fact different and I really wanted to see him lose his soul....and then have Buffy be surprised he is the same. Haha.

Anyway. I wanted to say that before I read the next two chapters.

It's wonderful that Spike is prepared to do what it takes for Buffy to be secure and happy.  Swoony.

Awwwww  so very sweet.  I completely agree that he COULD have done it (with difficulty for quite a while as he struggled to find his course) but the fear in her and the others would taint everything and would be inevitable after the horror of Angelus.  Had they connected before Angelus it might have been possible but not after IMHO.

Excellent.  Yes, Spike sees what he wants and does what he needs to do to secure it.
