okay, i just gotta say, this story is simply marvelous, as all of your work is. love the complex plot and character development, all the twists and spins, great descriptions and wonderful writing on the whole.

anyways... i loved how xander still cared. that was brilliant. and very realistic how they ended up killing willow and not trying to restore her soul. love it.

can't wait to see what will happen next.

Oh my  what a treat to see this update!!!!!  You've been swamped with RL and various fics and I fully appreciate you coming back to the ones in progress and that is not meant as a complaint, hon.....even Samson had power outages LOL.

Wonderful way to end Willow's reign of terror.  Love that Buffy sees the soul situation so differently (after the damage done by souled Angel and the heroics of unsouled Xander it proved Spike true both his souled and unsouled version).  Glad they will be saving Xander....Spike will be a great mentor to him....hum it will take having to become a vampire to finally get a decent father figure (meaning Spike)...sad.

I love that Willow was actually defeated by her own smugness and seeing everyone else through her own way of thinking.  She could not imagine Xander caring about Buffy and trusted him to embrace her plan whole heartedly.
