(Sequel to Revenge For Love) Set in an alternate season 3, the story picks up about a week after Revenge For Love ended. Faith and Wesley arrive in Sunnydale, and sparks fly all around. Identities and truths clash with lies and the past. Also thrown in are bits of chaos that Ethan Rayne would be proud to see. The PTB (Powers That Be) decide to interfere in things the rest of the Scoobies wish they wouldn't have. The Council still can't get it through their heads that Sunnydale is off limits. True loves grow, other relationships emerge, old enemies become new again, and new enemies are found. Through it all we shall learn that death is not the end of life for some, merely a new beginning.

Faith and Wesley look over the information they were given by Spike and Buffy. Everyone else waits to hear from Faith and Wesley on their decision to stay or go. Will the newcomers listen to what the find out, or will their prejudices and preconceived notions make them turn a blind eye to the possibilities of a new life in Sunnydale?

Joyce, Dalton, Willow, and Xander share information about the Council and the Slayer line while Giles talks to Faith. We also learn a little bit more about Dalton. Giles calms down considerably, and Faith works out a meeting time and place for the next day. Wesley calls the Council in an attempt to ease his fears that they were sent to Sunnydale to die.

Previous Chapter Summary: A meeting was set between Faith, Wesley and Giles for the next afternoon. Giles has every intention of having Buffy and Spike at that sunny day meeting to prove a point to the wary Watcher. Wesley finally checked in with the Council in England. A shocked, and angry, Travers blurted out quite a faux pas statement asking why the Watcher was still alive. Buffy and Spike chased each other all the way back to their house for a bit of private time.



Current Chapter Summary: Wesley finishes his conversation with Travers, and repercussions abound when the real one who wanted Wesley's death is revealed. Giles and Joyce talk to Willow, Xander and Dalton for a little longer before they head to bed.

Previous Chapter Summary: Wesley finished his conversation with Travers, and he realized that his father must have approved of his execution. He was very shook up about it, and he discussed it with Faith a little. Giles and Joyce talked to Willow, Xander and Dalton after the phone call, and both of them reflected on the growth of the three over the last few months.

Current Chapter Summary: Spike and Buffy get a little one on one time in their home. (YEAH SPUFFY!) Wesley and Faith try to get some rest, but Wesley is plagued with nightmares from his past.

Previous Chapter Summary: Spuffy fun abounded as our heroes were finally able to get some alone time that night. Wesley had a nightmare about his earlier childhood days, and we had a glimpse into the attitude of his father that was prevalent as Wes was growing up.



Current Chapter Summary: Spike and Buffy have a visit in their dreams from Charmand and Antoinette. Faith and Wesley seem to have gotten a little closer during the night. What will they do when they wake up?

Previous Chapter Summary: Spike and Buffy had a visit in their dreams from Charmand and Antoinette. What did their cryptic messages mean? Faith and Wesley found that there was at least a little bit of physical attraction or comfort sought between them in their sleep. Will they act on it?

Current Chapter Summary: It's time for Wesley and Faith to meet up with Giles and other Scoobies. What is going on in everyone's mind as they get ready for the meeting? How much has word spread throughout the demon world about Sunnydale's protectors? Who might it lure to the Hellmouth?

Wesley and Faith get a look at true daywalkers for the first time. Spike and Buffy will be in full view in the sunlight. Will that clinch things in Wesley and Faith's minds that Spike and Buffy are more than "evil demons"? It's time for Wesley and Faith to truly meet Spike and Buffy. Will Wesley and Faith accept the daywalkers? Will Travers make good on his promise to Roger Wyndham-Pryce to kill Wesley?

Who was injured? Who shot at the Scoobies? What other trouble is on the horizon? Also, our little "Mouse" and her Sire are on their way to Sunnydale. Are they trouble, or does trouble only follow them?

Clem comes to them with news about a danger heading this way. He also has some other rumors to share with the Scoobies. Some of the new and old Scoobies work on plans and preparations to face the incoming threat as well as working to figure out the current threat in Sunnydale.

Chapter 11 wasn't posted here before, only an author's note.  I thought I had the chapter posted here too.  So, I am posting both Chapter 11 and Chapter 12 here today.  Chapter 12 is the completely new chapter that I finished writing today.  Chapter 11 is new to this site though.  So, you might need to read both of them.

Dalton talks with Constance and Dawn in an attempt to ascertain their intentions.  He informs Spike of the new arrivals, and he is brought up to date on all the groups that might be heading to Sunnydale.  Buffy and Spike go to meet the new visitors.  Some of the Scoobies look into the attempt on Wesley’s life and search for Council involvement.  There is a bit of a confrontation in England at the Council headquarters.  I also put in a little bit of a flashback from when Dalton “tortured” Quentin before the end of Revenge For love for those who requested it before.  It isn’t hugely graphic, and you can skip the little section between the single set of ~*~ if you want.

The Sunnydale group gets some disturbing news from England.  We flashback to after Dalton enacted justice on Quentin Travers before.  Plus we see why Buffy and Dalton share a more telepathic connection now (for those that were wondering).  We also find out more about those who tried to kill Wesley and Spike.
