A sequel to a short (6200+) off-canon Season Four fic – Even Demons Need Friends, but I don’t think you need to have read that story (although it’s kinda fun...). All you need to know is that this is a non-canon Season 5 in which Glory is there searching for her Key, Joyce is sick, Spike is unchipped and living in another city. At the end of the previous story, he’d asked Buffy to call him if she needed help.
They don’t have a relationship yet; they weren’t even much more than canon Season Four semi-enemies, with an unrecognized and unacknowledged sexual attraction, when Ethan’s spell to turn Giles into a Fyral demon wrought some important changes in a very short period of time. But not changes sufficient to make it likely that a slayer, with a human boyfriend and a firm belief in what’s right and acceptable, and an old vampire, who has just regained his ability to hunt and feed, are likely to see any kind of a future for them. In spite of some surprising revelations about how they may feel about each other.
You can assume that the rest of Season Four and some of Season Five have proceeded pretty much as in canon, but without Spike’s presence. That absence, and the reason for it, has changed things enough that I think it’s fair to call this an AU Season Five. Some things will be familiar, some things obviously will not, so don’t go looking for an identical timeline or identical events.

A (not so) Comic Christmas that employs the first half of issue #16, then goes it’s own way. So, story was Jossed before it was written, but that’s what fanfic is all about, right? Twisting canon to make it Spuffy. J  AU season 9 that begins with a little scene between Dowling and Buffy after Dawn and Xander have indicated they seem to be dating – or should be.   Warning – spoilers for the comic hinted at in the scene change.

A short, tried-to-be-pwp-but-I-didn't-let-it, ficlet written for a prompt at sb_fag_ends. Was going to try to do all of them this month, but so far I've only managed one.

Takes place in the Bumpverse (Things That Go Bump in the Night), many years after all the other fics set in that verse. Spike and Buffy are still fighting the good fight, even though they have grown children and several grandchildren. Can they retire? Should they retire? What would they do with themselves?
(For those unfamiliar with the verse - all you really need to know is that after years as a ghost, Spike was brought back as a very human man, albeit one with superpowers. A male slayer of sorts. He and Buffy married and had a family.)

Post NFA. Spike returns to LA after being gone for almost seven years. He doesn’t know why he came back, until he meets a little girl that will change his life forever.

Six months after the battle of the Hellmouth, Buffy brings her team to Wolfram & Hart on a legal matter and finds that she’s been kept out of the loop in some important ways.

 A future fic (no comics references to speak of) that takes place in an anonymous American city that contains a minor hellmouth and the accompanying assortment of vampires and demons. The Council has provided a fair-sized squad of slayers to live there and keep things under control. Buffy is visiting to see if she can help out with a problem that has arisen. While Buffy is clueless for a while, I suspect readers will figure things out pretty quickly. :)

A person's greatest strength is often revealed when no one is around to see it. Post-Showtime, Xander and Buffy have a conversation. If you like, this piece can fit with Remember, Believe, and Rest, but it isn't necessary to read the two together.

Ten years after Not Fade Away, Buffy and Spike meet by chance. After all that has happened in the intervening years, what stories do they have to tell? And do they still feel the same way about each other?

I never liked "Seeing Red," so I wrote a piece on how Spike should have left. Takes place soon after "Dead Things." It's a one-shot.
