One shot. Set AtS. I had some trouble reconciling Spike as portrayed in AtS with the Spike of Season 7 on BtVS. Here's my take on why.

Prequel to Not Quite Home for the Holidays. Early season five, still adjusting to life with the Initiative’s chip, loathing his unlife, and resisting the after affects of a dream, can Spike hold out against the lure of the easy money? And just what does it take to get him to accept who it is that he really wants - hint: it's not Harmony. Note: I think I posted this chapter before, and then deleted it when I realized I had never posted the Holiday fic here - so if the first chapter seems familiar, it is.

THIS IS NOT MY STORY, but don't flame me yet. This story was started years ago as a Round Robin, and was never completed. Nikkolequade (thank you) got permission from the authors to post it as a challenge on Bloodshedverse (#226). With their pemission (thanks again) I am reposting the original story here - and then will post my conclusion separately. I just thought the story was too good to be forgotten. Oh, yeah the summary. Buffy and Spike pose as a master vampire and his thralled slave to infiltrate a human slave auction run by vampires. Of course, everything that could go wrong, does, leaving the pair in more than one compromising situation.

Buffy must masquerade as Spike's slave in order to infiltrate a vampire human slave ring and rescue Tara. Of course almost everything that can go wrong does. Nikkolequade posted the bloodverse challenge (#226) to finish this classic fic called “Ring Around the Buffy.”

Summary: More than ten years after FNA, Buffy is still mourning Spike. One Christmas she reminisces about the past and begins to make plans for a new future.

Sappy, Romantic, Season 7 holiday fic. As the Scooby’s morale deteriorates along with the almost deserted town, and the impending battle looming not far ahead, Spike tries to lift everyone’s spirits with a late holiday party at the mansion on Crawford Street.

During Dead Things, Spike muses on his experiences with bondage and through the years and its effects on who he has become. Spike/Dru, Spike/Buffy. Rated NC-17 for heavy BDSM and bloodplay. Small spoilers for Fool for Love and Dead Things.
