This is my entry for  seasonal_spuffy and so I have written a "missing scene" from the end of the season 2 episode of BtVS, called "I Only Have Eyes For You".

I asked some friends to challenge me, as I hadn't written anything recently.Lilachigh gave me the opening line :-

Buffy stared in horror. Spike had driven her out of town to the beach just as the moon was rising.
"Moonlight horse-riding, pet! You'll love it!"

Buffy refuses to leave Spike to die in the high school basement. When she takes the amulet off, they end up in another dimension. Alive, wounded and exhausted, they must deal with a world that’s very different from their own, yet eerily familiar. It’s not Hawaii or a cruise in the Caribbean, but they manage to make a holiday of it.

Spike and Buffy are back to the warehouse at the end of Crush. He’s still not convinced that she doesn’t feel anything towards him... Maybe a little help is needed? ;-)

Set sometime around “Flooded,” Buffy struggles to reintegrate herself into the realm of the living. Luckily, the undead is willing to lend a helping hand.

Then, just when she feels it can't get worse, Giles drops a bombshell on her. Introduce a demon with an offer she can't refuse and wackiness will ensue.

A fun fic I wrote to cheer up a friend who had chicken pox. What if Spike had to explain to someone close to Buffy why he can't help take care of her while she's sick?
