The only Rock station within a hundred miles of Sunnydale has changed formats and now plays Talk Radio. Write us a fic where Spike goes on a rampage about it, as the Scoobies try to talk him out of pulling their tower down with his Desoto, burning down their studio Buffy realizes she totally wants this bad boy :P

Must haves:
1. Lines that must be used: Spike saying, "Its the only bloody station that plays the Ramones." Giles saying about the whole thing. "I think this is proof positive that even a demon as evil as William the Bloody can be redeemed.


Can haves:
1. The other guys secretly hoping he gets away with it and Giles openly asking how is what Spike is doing evil??

Author’s Note: Because sadly the best rock station here in NJ was K-Rock which is now Freefm (all talk radio) fronted by morning man David Lee Roth who sucks the major balls of suckage, which is why I was drawn to write this. The sequel to my award-winning fic for the LJ community Good_Evil, The Bodyguard; this one picks up right where that on left off with Spike on his way home with the white queen in his pocket and Buffy waiting to see if the Initiative can take care of Riley. For all those who felt the UST needed to be resolved at some point.

Sunnydale is gone.  The Scoobies have scattered and Angel is the CEO of Wolfram & Hart.  A lot of things can change in a matter of months. But, Spike isn't as gone as everyone thought.  His spirit has been inhabiting this world, running on borrowed time, from an afterlife he fears.  But why, after all this time, is he suddenly grounded to Wolfram & Hart?  Is it the amulet?  Coincidence?  Or is there something more sinister at work?

Set Season 5, just after 'Into The Woods'. A rather drunken Buffy decides that the best way to fight her loneliness is to seduce herself a vampire.

Response to Challenge #380. I actually had this idea kicking around my head for awhile, and when I read the challenge I realized it was time to post. This story picks up post-NFA, and actually, post Spike comic #3 (though no knowledge of the comics is required for enjoyment). After the first chapter time dips back to Season 5 BtVS. A lot of Buffy-time traveling fics have been made, but not so many about Spike. Of course, after Angel Season 5, where Spika goes, Illyria goes too (or maybe its the other way around...). So here's my take on things.

Goes AU after S5's Checkpoint. Five years ago, Buffy and Spike fell into a portal to a dimension ruled by demons. Finally, reunited, their goal is to get back home. However, the years in this dimension have changed them. Spike's long isolation keeps him distant, and Buffy's enforced life at a brothel has caused her to forget the Slayer she used to be. Somehow, they'll have to find themselves again to defeat a powerful enemy and make it home.

Still going through the motions of everyday life and slayage, Buffy and Spike come across a demon that changes their very existence.

The nerds do some magical menace and swap Buffy and Spike's genders. Buffy's less than comfortable in her new body, despite Spike's best efforts to make the best of the situation (with sex).

Starts at the very beginning of “Wild At Heart,� but goes a bit differently. Spike decides to confront the Slayer, changing the course of events drastically.

Post NFA. Slightly AU, which means that here Fred and Wesley are alive. Angel and his team won the battle, but not the whole war. Shortly after the fight Spike leaves LA to find his own way, Connor joins his father and the Fang Gang is back in the investigation business. There's another Apocalypse coming, so Angel decides to ask for help the rebuilt Council of Watchers. It's up to Fred to make one last phone call and ask along an old friend, who surprisingly won't come alone.

Takes place in Season Six, after All the Way, which means it is before Buffy and Spike kiss, but after she confesses to Spike that she was in heaven. Only no Giles on hand, sorry. In 1898 when Angelus was ensouled he went to Spike and Dru instead of Darla. Dru abandoned them shortly afterward and Spike and Angel continued on alone. But William never had it easy previously under Angelus' thumb and the years left their mark.

The previous events with Riley have taken place sooner, and he left for South America before Joyce gets sick. Joyce doesn't die, and Dawn is just Buffy's sister, no key, and no Glory. So I guess you can say it goes completely off cannon and onto A/U from there.

It's the summer after Season Four, and Buffy's ready for some peace and quiet when Angel arrives out of nowhere and she's trapped between two rival lovers. To make matters worse, Spike's lonely and looking for a new playmate- and that alternative is suddenly sounding kind of appealing.

What might have happened after Spike found Buffy crying on the back porch and sat down beside her? How might that have changed the rest of that time period? (Note: goes, obviously, somewhat AU immediately, so events may run together more than they did in canon.)

This follows the episode “Something Blue�, but goes seriously AU and into Spuffyland immediately. It is not in any way connected to my other Season IV post “Something Blue� fics. It is its own little Spuffy story.It also is sufficiently AU that canon timelines may have been violated more than is comfortable for some readers. Fair warning.
