Written for Spuffy Haven challenge, Art before Fic. Season Five, following FFL. Buffy is trying to deal with Joyce’s news, her own despair, a distraught sister, a possessive boyfriend and an extremely annoying vampire.

Season 5, just after FFL. Joyce is in hospital awaiting her operation, Buffy is trying to deal with a distraught sister, her own despair, a possessive boyfriend and a vampire who wants her to stop a demon battle at the Bronze!

Season 5. Shortly after FFL. Joyce is awaiting her operation and has asked Spike to distract Buffy, to stop her worrying. The vampire has come up with a plan involving an imaginary demon battle at the Bronze. Meanwhile, Riley has stormed out of the house, leaving Dawn alone in the middle of a thunder storm.

Written for challenge on Spuffy Haven. The day after FFL, Spike is trying to keep his promise to Joyce to distract Buffy. He has taken her to the Bronze on the pretext of stopping a demon fight. Riley was left at home to look after Dawn, but he has now left her alone in the middle of a storm.

Day after FFL, Buffy is trying to come to terms with Joyce’s illness. Spike has visited Joyce in hospital and she has asked him to do her a favour - take Buffy’s mind off her problems for one evening. A phantom demon fight at the Bronze seems like a good idea, but nothing goes to plan and while Buffy and Spike are dancing, Riley leaves Dawn in danger and is no one is there when she meets a demon child.

The night after FFL. In a storm battered Sunnydale, Buffy and Spike have realised that Dawn is missing. They think she has been captured by a Lynfra demon. They don’t know that Dawn has found a demon child, Eriddny, and is taking it home.

The night after FFL, Dawn is trying to return a little lost demon child to its parents. Buffy and Spike are desperate to find her and Riley is desperate to find them!

Following FFL, Spike is trying to do Joyce a favour by distracting Buffy. But his plans have gone badly wrong and now they are hunting for Dawn who they think has been captured by a demon. But Dawn is really trying to return a sick demon child to its mother.

This is the final chp. Set between FFL and ITW. Spike visited Joyce in hospital: she asked him to do her a favour, distract Buffy to stop her worrying. Spike tells Buffy about a fight at the Bronze. Riley wakes to find the Slayer gone and leaving Dawn on her own, sets out to find her. As a storm rages, a lost demon child, Eriddny, wanders into the house and Dawn decides to find the child’s parents. At the Bronze, Spike annoys Riley until they realise he’s left Dawn alone. Back at the empty house, Spike believes that a Lynfra demon has taken Dawn. Buffy sends Riley to hunt for her sister, knowing that Spike is the one she needs on her side. Dawn has taken Eriddny to the mall where she said she lived. But Eriddny has now fallen ill and will not be able to tell her mom that Dawn is her rescuer! Buffy and Spike track Dawn to discover her in great danger but she does not want them to kill the demon who is Eriddny’s mom.

I thought this story was finished, but one of my LJ friends, Louise, asked for a Christmas follow-up to Eriddny's story. So this chapter blossomed forth. We are now slightly off canon.
Time has passed - Joyce has died - Buffy died and was brought back by her friends. Dawn - well, Dawn is still unhappy and tired of being treated like a child.

Now in Season Six,  Dawn and the Lynfra demon, Eriddny, now a teenager, have met up again and become friends.  Buffy and Spike, absorbed by their own passions, have no idea.

Buffy and Spike are too involved with each other to realise that Dawn has become friends with Eriddny, the Lynfra demon girl she met when she was much smaller.  Rebelling against their families, the two teenagers have run away to L.A.  

Dawn and the demon teenager, Eriddny, have decided to head for an adventure in L.A.  Buffy is faced with contacting Angel for help.

Dawn and Eriddny have run away to L.A. although Dawn has no idea that her demon friend might soon be entering a very dangerous Lynfra maturing stage.  Buffy and Spike are searching for them and Buffy has to decide whether or not to involve Angel in their plans.

Dawn and Eriddny have been captured by demons.  Buffy and Spike are searching L.A. for them, without much success.

So Dawn is waiting to be auctioned off by demons, Eriddny has gone to find Angel for help and Buffy and Spike are bickering their way to the same destination!  Oh fun.

Dawn is about to be sold as a virgin bride in a demon auction. Buffy and Spike are on their way to rescue her.
