It’s several years in the future, and things look different on the Hellmouth. The peaceful demons live in harmony and their way of life is about to be threatened.

Takes place in the Bumpverse (Things That Go Bump in the Night), many years after all the other fics set in that verse. Spike and Buffy are still fighting the good fight, even though they have grown children and several grandchildren. Can they retire? Should they retire? What would they do with themselves?
(For those unfamiliar with the verse - all you really need to know is that after years as a ghost, Spike was brought back as a very human man, albeit one with superpowers. A male slayer of sorts. He and Buffy married and had a family.)

Spike. Ensouled. Stuck in a basement. Alone. Scared. Mad. Tortured by guilt. “I don't have anywhere else to go.” Buffy already knows, that can't be true.

I've taken the awesome 'Trust me?' line from Dead Things, and run with it in a good and naughty way! Pretty much PWP.
(The title is borrowed from Depeche Mode, Spike and Buffy are borrowed from Joss, who lets me play with them if I'm very very good...)

Buffy and Spike share a moment together after a grocery run. Talking dirty and self-pleasuring has never been so much fun. **Runner up for Best Spuffy Short (Rogue Poet Awards R2).**

S2, after Angel had become Angelus. Spike uses some magic to get the Slayer to come to him and things heat up. PW1/2P.
