The next in the series that began with the grim Loves Lost and continued in the agnsty Love Awakened. This is Spike's next visit to Sunnydale for Buffy's eighteenth birthday...

In an effort to frighten the muse into finishing this story - I'm going to start posting it. This is the fourth and last in the series that began with Loves Lost, continued with Love Awakened and Love Continued.

Some not terribly original plot concepts, including some I’ve used before, but hopefully an original take on those ideas. Buffy has come to LA to find amnesiatic Spike who is apparently the only survivor of the battle with the Senior Partners’ demon army. Disclaimer: The characters belong to Joss Wheedon and probably some big, scary corporations. Alas, they aren’t mine. But I play with them, ‘cause the man said we could.

season II; written for the Good_Evil community, this fic doesn't really become Spuffy until the sequel. However, Spike and Buffy are definitely the main characters and the gang is all here at one time or another. As are Angelus and Dru. Not for the faint of heart, a darker fic than I normally write with bloodplay, rape and non-consensual sexual contact. The gorgeous banner is by the very generous and talented Spikes Slayer2

Buffy is suffering with a longing for death in her new life, when circumstances drop a young child into her lap, clinging to life while tortured by death. With Spike as her only possible ally, Buffy must face three days of life, death, and consequences, with everything mirrored in the eyes of one complete innocent, and one brutal killer. Seven chapters, complete at 17,000 words. Inspired by a challenge from Beautiful_Tyrant77 on Elysian Fields.

Listening to Spike as he confessed raw moment after moment of pure emotion, as he basked in the hollow comfort of a false love, made Buffy’s cheeks flush with something other than anger. It was horribly erotic. Buffy discovers the lover robot has recordings of its time with Spike. Now that she really knows how he feels... what exactly is she going to do about it? (Winner, Sunnydale Memorial Awards round 32, Best Angst Spuffy, Best Characterization Male: Spike.)

“I know I’m already destiny’s bitch. If destiny’s really destiny, it can work itself out, can’t it? Doesn’t need a slew of bells and whistles. But I guess Angel’s destiny is special, eh? Needs help and coaxing and lots of praise? Not like us poor ordinary sods.” Buffy is furious at Angel making everyone lie to her in Pangs. So she makes one small decision, which might just change the course of destiny…. Set after Thanksgiving dinner.

"Look, Buffy," Spike said. "I know it wasn’t the real reason you broke up with me, but honest, I wasn’t your dealer, your ‘Doctor’ or whatever. I was a bloody patsy is what I was." While Spike is suffering from a malfunctioning neuro-chip, Buffy finally lets him explain the events in As You Were.

Spike dismissed the memory. His thoughts were just some old remnant of his human life, a deja-vu that had nothing to do with the reality of the situation. They were vampire and slayer, not a lady and her escort. Spike considers the evening he spent with the slayer, the night of the truce. Set after Becoming.

“You want to feel everything I can do for you. You want all of me, to fill that hollow space inside you. You have my mind, you have my flesh, you’ve had my heart for years.” He whispered in her ear before he bit her, bruising her with his human teeth, but he let go long before he drew blood. “You can have my pain, love. You can have my pleasure. But I’m keeping this.”

Buffy is acting very childishly (no, really) can Spike cope This is a relatively long one before you get to the bitey - just thought I should say. Posting in blocks of 5 chapters seeing as it's done and it's long and it'll take too long to post chapter by chapter.

Spike picks up a few things at Ethan’s Costume Shop and is dragged by the collar into chaos.

S7 the night before the final battle in “Chosen” Summary: A bit of angst. Just why might Spike have doubted Buffy’s declaration of love in the cave?
