Post-'Checkpoint', Spike's Number One Fan gets a tumble. Buffy walks in and is shocked and appalled, yet she can't seem to walk out. A 'missing scene' that's Spuffy at heart - and Splydia at groin. (Though not in a graphic way.)

Takes place at the end of "The Girl in Question." What if Buffy showed up at the apartment before Angel and Spike left?

S7 the night before the final battle in “Chosen” Summary: A bit of angst. Just why might Spike have doubted Buffy’s declaration of love in the cave? It's late season 2, and Spike discovers Buffy locked out of her house after patrol. Shenanigans ensue.

Assume Buffy and Spike made their truce a bit earlier than in canon - leaving them some time before Acathla - and that Joyce still doesn't know Buffy's the Slayer. Memories have been adapted to include Dawn.

Season II, Buffy sneaks into the mansion and finds something she hadn't expected. Just a short pre-Spuffy convo between them.

“You want to feel everything I can do for you. You want all of me, to fill that hollow space inside you. You have my mind, you have my flesh, you’ve had my heart for years.” He whispered in her ear before he bit her, bruising her with his human teeth, but he let go long before he drew blood. “You can have my pain, love. You can have my pleasure. But I’m keeping this.”

Buffy and Spike have a fight and something terrible happens, which causes Spike to regret his actions.

A while back, I wrote a little two-chapter tale called Drive It Like You Stole It. (Also archived here.) It was just a little something, kind of light, about an adventure involving Spike, Buffy and a fluffy demon dog. I hadn't planned to write a sequel, but my fickle Muse held a gun to my head and told me to tell you that this is what happened next.

Spike dismissed the memory. His thoughts were just some old remnant of his human life, a deja-vu that had nothing to do with the reality of the situation. They were vampire and slayer, not a lady and her escort. Spike considers the evening he spent with the slayer, the night of the truce. Set after Becoming.

It’s Christmas Eve, and Buffy has to deliver a Christmas pudding to Spike. She finds him drunk and lonely, and discovers that even the most hardened of hearts can be melted by a little Christmas cheer. Set during season five.
