Someone told me this week that they say James girlfriend form Germany I believe he is still with her, with an engagment ring on her finger, does this mean that he is engaged or just a rumor.

Just a rumor. He hasn't confirmed or announced any engagement. He still calls her his girlfriend.

Not to say that it hasn't happened in secret, but....officially, no.

Not to get involved in stuff I don't know shit about, but since the chick is from Germany and all. Engagement, not a thing we really do here. After they agreed to get married, some people might call themselves engaged, but only some, and only because it's a convenient term. Like when someone like that gets hit on they may say "I'm engaged." Instead of simply "I have a boyfriend/girlfriend."; but nothing like telling all your friends "OMG, I'm engaged.".

Following that, we wear rings on the finger in question all the time without attaching a meaning. All the women I know who wear rings wear them on their ring-fingers, and if they are into frilly stuff with stones they may very well look like something you might consider an engagement ring. At the same time, no one I know who got married ever wore a special ring before the wedding. (That's apparently so strange to people from some countries, that's I've been asked whether I'm engaged on occasion, and my rings are heavy, broad, silver-and-black things.)

Like I said, I don't know anything about the situation or those two and their lives, but considering where she comes from, I wouldn't put too much stock into that particular observation.

Yeah, probably just a rumor.  As far as I know, James said he never wants to get married again.

That is what I have heard to on the James site I belong to he got hurt being married and does not want it again, my friend say the ring might have thought it was engagement one.

What the hell?  Are you *kidding*?  I'm sorry, but some silly manip is just not worth it.  No siree, it's not.  Besides, there are plenty of false maips out there of James/Spike--I'm sure there's someone who can make another fake that has nothing to do with James' RL.  And if his RL involved him decked out in wedding finery that had him in the groom's tux, I'm sure it would make a lot of people the opposite of thrilled.

Actually, yes, I was kidding.  I'm sure a lot of fans would be heartbroken.  I'm equally sure we'd all wish James well.
