I would if I wasn't broke and didn't live so far away, but he's really awesome live.  I'm just lucky that I at least got to see him once.  I never thought I would get the chance.
When I say, "I love you," it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you, and I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy.

Oh, man. I'd go to London just for the hell of it, but seeing James there, too? Such temptation...

Tickets are available online, for anyone who plans to go.
Writing should feel easy, like a monkey driving a speed boat.

Hmm, tempting. I live nearby, so it would be easy to reach, and the tickets themselves aren't all that much. Don't really know his music that well though - anyone know how I could listen to some of it, to work out what I think?

Jess, you can listen to some of his music on youtube.  Some of the songs that I like best are London City, Up On Me, Fall of Night, Layabout, Looking at You, Birth of the Blues, Don't Worry Son, Like A Waterfall. So, I would just type in "James Marsters Up On Me"  or whatever song you want to hear on youtube. That is what I do. Although, I have both of his albums. But I still like to hear the songs live.

I would love to see James Marsters live. Maybe one day I will.

Thanks, Guest, whoever you are! Will do that, and decide if I can justify going, or if it would just be shameless ogling. On the other hand, is there a better justification than shameless ogling?

Another thing to consider - both Union Chapel gigs have been among JM's best as a solo artist, so three is probably also a charm. And I've been told the venue has pretty good acoustics and sound. As long as the man doesn't injure his dang hand again, it should be a very entertaining gig.

For those of you interested in the Q & A James had at the Borderline prior to his performance on Wednesday night, I've got two posts up now on my LJ here and here.
