Okay, this is driving me crazy.  I'm looking for a fic that I swear I had bookmarked, but apparently didn't.  I don't remember much but the beginning.  It starts off with Angelus having beaten Buffy (or tricked her?) and charging money for demons to use her.  Spike comes along and ends up taking her with him.  At first she thinks he's going to do the same thing, but of course he doesn't.  They end up at this motel, and later, a house.  Later her friends show up to take her away.  And even though it seems like a season two fic, I think I remember Tara being somewhere in it, though I could be wrong about that part.  Ring any bells?

I believe that fic, might be Prophecies and Fate by ZoeGrace, but she took all her fics down.

She took them down? Does anyone know why? Has she stopped writing for the fandom?

I thought I remembered her mentioning that she was working on original novels, and was trying to get published. She hasn't written any fanfic in months, that I can recall, although I wasn't aware she'd taken her fics down. It could be that she's trying to turn one or more of her fanfics into an original story for publishing. I know that some authors who move from fanfic to original work do that.

Prophecies and Fate, yep that was it.  Oh well.  I hope she puts them on her livejournal sometime.  Hmm, even if I got published, I wouldn't take my fanfic down.  Nothing to connect me after all.  Pen name here, pen name there.  Though I can't imagine that any story I'd write for Buffy could be used or developed for something else.  Too specific.
