Buffy Cast Reunion

Feb 06 2008 05:05 am   #1Scarlet Ibis
The Paley Centre for Media will be holding an evening reunion event with the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Thursday, March 20, 2008. James is scheduled, work permitting, to attend the event alongside Joss Whedon, Eliza Dushku, Seth Green, Nicholas Brendon, Emma Caulfield, Amber Benson and Michelle Trachtenberg.

Apparently, the "premium package" for this and three other events that I don't care about (cept for maybe The Comedy World of Judd Apatow and Friends) is $750, which is way too rich for my blood.  Anyway, I'm hoping there'll be some kind of regular package at, you know, *sane* prices.

Is there anyone interested and/or definitely going to this?  Not saying that I am, cause hey--poor college student, but I was just wondering.

I really wish I could go, but it's way too rich for my blood, and I live too far away.  I'm already spending a lot on two other conventions that are closer to me, but it would be really cool to get a chance to see them.  I think even Sarah would be going.
When I say, "I love you," it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you, and I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy.

WOW even sarah on that list i woulda never thunk.
Just stewart-head missing on that list
This sounds like a convention i would really pay money to go to, especially with the whole cast there. I cant remember a con Sarah ever went to.

Ally isn't confirmed, yet, either.

The $750 is for 2 people, but that's not the only ticket price available. There are cheaper ones, plus Paley membership.

I looked around on the site and it appears that they may record the evening. They have a couple different DVDs of other sessions. If they were smart they would try and sell this one. It would make alot money for the organization. I know I would pay money for that!

From what I could tell, tickets are $45 per person for each event. At that rate I'll definitely try to score a ticket for the Buffy event when they go on sale tomorrow.

I'd give my left arm to go to this...Unfortunately, I'm already giving it to see Jimmy in April :wah:  Life is so not fair.  I should move to CA so I can more easily feed my addiction :-P

I feel your pain, IB.  What do you think the chances are of our darling boy coming to a small rural town in the Eastern Maritimes of Canada??  Come on, somebody give me some hope!!  We've got a lot to offer any celebrity.  Let's see, there's the giant blueberry, the giant potato, the new wind turbine that was just put up...  Oh, and there's a new factory going up that's got the whole town buzzin!!!  Now honestly, what can Hollywood offer that we can't??  :-P
