Buffyverse Valentines

Feb 10 2008 06:35 pm   #1nmcil
I will be doing some Spuffy and Buffyverse Valentines- if you have a quote that you love or want to suggest, please post them here for me and I will use them.  They don't have to be about Buffy and Spike but can be about any couple.

Sorry, just call me Miss Big Old Pig Head but I just cannot bring myself to create any Buffy-Angel Forever -

I usually find inspiration from song, and strangely, "Tainted Love" comes to mind--tons of quotes from the lyrics.  And, it can apply to like, almost all of the Buffyverse pairings.  Know that may not be traditional Valentine's Day (though Xander is dumped on said day), but I guess I'm  just being true to the verse :P

I would love to have any Xander quotes or episode that I should work with -  was certainly planning on doing one based on his Country Music line - can you direct me to the correct episode for that one -

Songs and Poetry is also something that I will be working with - thanks for the "Tainted Love" I will check the lyrics.

I hope to start a new CAPS film called Love With Billie - using her "Don't Explain"  and "You're My Thrill."

My friend is a Buffy/Xander shipper, maybe you could do something that says my Xander-shaped friend.  I bought her a Xander doll for her birthday a couple of years ago and she's always saying that.
When I say, "I love you," it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you, and I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy.

Against all my Spuffy Instincts I will make an attempt - even taking some Xander DVDcaps lately so I have images to work with - not quite sure on the text - should I use "Xander-shaped Friend" or should I use something like "for my Xander-shaped friend?"  Would the "Music of Pain" based Valentine work for her?

Started on the Valentines last night, so I had better get back to them inorder to have some ready for the 14th.

If anyone else is doing Buffyverse Valentines, let me know and I will post them at my Whedon World Gallery along with mine -

For my Xander-shaped friend sounds good, but anything you come up with would be fine.  I like the music of pain, too.

I just noticed this, this is such a beautiful idea. I hope I'm not too late, but I have a friend who worships Spike/Xander, and I'd like to give her a present like this. Maybe something with the text "nummy treat" or "Have I mentioned how much I hate you today?" "Once or twice" in Spiral, can't remember the exact quote.
