Blood
Does anyone know what they used for blood on the show? It's been bugging me for ages.

In an interview, James said it was Strawberry Quick mixed with another sort of syrup (I couldn't catch what he said). I'm on my slow computer right now, but I imagine the interview is still somewhere on youtube, if someone wants to look it up. It was the one where he was showing someone around the set, including the newly built SD High for season 7.

It was made with like half the water, so it was really think. He's said that they had a medic around for whenever a vamp actor had to drink it all day for take after take, as people would go into sugar shock.

Probably cairo (pronounced Care-o) syrup, seeing as we used that at my house one year

I believe it's strawberry Quick and corn syrup. Cairo syrup would have the same consistency. Either way, yuck :hurl:
