Which episode...?

Feb 11 2008 10:37 pm   #1dawnofme
I need to make a screencap of the scene where Buffy wakes Spike up by throwing a candle at him.  For the life of me, I can't remember which episode it was in.

I figured this was the best place to ask.  So which episode is that scene from?  Please.

I think that episode was either Wrecked or Smashed.

It's Wrecked.  She throws the candle when she's in his crypt trying to wake him up to find Dawn at Rack's.

I've read this quote a couple times, but can't figure out where it came from. I'm very ashamed. Buffy says, "Don't make me do the chick fight thing" or something similar. Can someone tell me what episode or what fight that was in? I can't remember who she was fighting or even what the 'chick fight thing' was. I think it was hair-pulling or scratching.

"Don't make me do the chick fight thing"

I'm pretty sure Buffy says that to Kendra in "What's My Line, Part I" when they're fighting in Angel's apartment.  I could be wrong though.

she was fighting kendra over angel, and the chick fight thing was to dig her nails into kendra's hand its from....what's my line? part 2, i'm pretty sure. it's one or two its one of the what's my line eps.
Your heart will break, your tears will fall, but don't be suprised, if there is someone there, to catch you when you fall. Becuase you, yes you, are awesome.

Of course, it's always more fun to chat with the gang.
If we want her to be exactly she'll never be exactly I know the only really real Buffy is really Buffy and she's gone' who?

I didn't want to open a new thread for just a quick question, so I'm adding on here. I did use vyra.net to try to find this quote I have in my head, but I can't find it, and I know Angel says it. It's driving me crazy. So, please, someone recognize it and tell me what episode it's from!

Angel:   "Maybe they aren't there to be beat. Maybe they're there to be fought."
(please remember the actual quote might not be exactly this, but if it's familiar, please tell me what episode it's from, though I'm pretty sure it's AtS)

I do remember what I said. The promise. To protect her.  If I had done that... even if I didn't make it... you wouldn't have had to jump. But I want you to know that I did save you. Not when it counted, of course, but after that. Every night after that. I'd see it all again. Do something different. Faster or more clever, you know? Dozens of times, lots of different ways...
   Every night I save you.

I believe he said that somewhere in season three to Buffy...or Buffy says it to him, and Angel more or less reiterates that in his own series at some point.

Okay, couldn't find the Buffy version (though I know it's out there), but here's the Angel one (to Lindsey) in "Not Fade Away."

ANGEL: Maybe they're not there to be beat. Maybe they're there to be fought. Maybe fighting them is what makes human beings so remarkably strong.

ETA:  On the Buffy thing, Angel says something similar to Buffy in "Gingerbread," which was why I was confused:  ANGEL: Buffy, you know, I'm still figuring things out. There's a lot I don't understand. But I do know it's important to keep fighting. I learned that from you.

BUFFY: But we never...

ANGEL: We never win.

BUFFY: Not completely.

ANGEL: We never will. That's not why we fight. We do it 'cause there's things worth fighting for. Those kids. Their parents.

Question:

In what episode was it in season three that Faith accuses Buffy of digging Angelus or something, and what episode was it that Faith talks about not understanding about why Allan's death should matter in the grand scheme of things or something?

Thanks :D

The second one is in "Consequences": "I missed the mark last night and I'm sorry about the guy. I really am! But it happens! Anyway, how many people do you think we've saved by now, thousands? And didn't you stop the world from ending? Because in my book, that puts you and me in the plus column."

I have a picture I found of Buffy and Spike, I can't figure out how to post it on here though, but anyway Spike is barechested, and Buffy is wearing a white top, and they're in the kitchen, and it looks like they're about to kiss. Any ideas?

It's from the season 7 episode "the Storyteller" I think. In which Andrew is running around video-taping everybody and providing a running commentary. It's an imaginary scene that only takes place in his "story" about Buffy and Spike, but the picture is used a lot because it does show them in a very loving relationship and action.
