We have missed doing "Amends" - do people want to discuss this episode before, simultaneously, or after  BGs or Con?  Amends has always been one of my favs and is an important episode - should we include it in the season discussions or has it been discussed too many times for you?  let me know what I should do - nmcil

Is there a particular transcript site that  members prefer?

Amends was never on any proposed list of episodes to discuss. (And personally, I hate it, so I'd rather not spend time talking about it.) What was on the list was The Wish/Doppelgangland and Graduation Day, so I would suggest we do those next.

I never really got the point of Amends. It regresses after the story arc has moved on and realizations have been made about Angel and Buffy's relationship, its introduction of the First Evil is weak and I don't know if they even planned to bring the First back for the seventh season at the point, and the snow idea at Christmas seemed hokey to me. Were we just supposed to think Angel felt really guilty, even if he'd been too tired from getting back from Hell to show it before? The only thing I can think that was useful to the overall story arc in the episode was seeing Giles deal with Angel. Other than that, it didn't contribute anything. I thought it was the writers trying to hang onto the Buffy/Angel romance and trying to focus more on Angel isntead of glossing over by assuming he felt bad.

I like "Amends" as a way to set up Angel's series, but honestly for me much of the episode is spent saying, "Bangs!  Bad bangs!"  I'm not usually distracted by things like hair or clothes, with the exception of Buffy's hair in that ep and Willow's muppet sweater in "After Life."

But I am all for the discussion on "The Wish."  I just watched it this afternoon, so I have some thoughts. 

Ditto Eowyn on "Amends."   Might just be one of my least favorite episodes.  I'm all for discussing "The Wish" and "Dopplegangland."

Seems like not much interest in discussion for "Bad Girls" and "Consequences" - I will leave the topic open until start of next week - if there are no posts we can start a "suggestion" for new episodes.  While the original plan was to keep to a chronological order maybe we want to change that to "any episodes with the season" 

I still would like to do a "Dreamscape" episodes discussion for the entire series.  Would a Buffy-Spike Most Important Episodes be more interesting to discuss than keeping with a Seasons Discussion?

Okay, for whatever reason, I can't get into the forums, but could someone just please post a thread for "The Wish"/"Dopplegangland," as well as "Bad Girls"/"And Consequences."  All of this back and forth business is getting us nowhere.
