Beta needed for a new story in response to Challenge #381. Essentially, Buffy actually uses her Slayer senses and dusts Angel during their first encounter.

The main focus for my new beta will be on plot holes, characters acting contrary to their natures, and knowledge of American slang. I am an Aussie myself, so I can handle the British slang pretty well; perhaps too well, considering my last beta told me that I kept making my American characters talk British.

I am confident in my spelling (British), grammar and punctuation, but what with my thoughts being so much faster than my touch typing, it's better to be safe than sorry.

The story itself will be set during Seasons 1 and 2 and will be rated PG or PG-13. I have started writing the first chapter, but I have a vague idea on where the story is going. Any and all suggestions for story line and plot progression will be welcome. I am willing to discuss anything that will better the story before dismissing it out of hand.

An email already! Wow! Will read the email once I get home in about 5-6 hours. My work blocks access to hotmail, yahoo, etc. Oh, and any forums that they can find, but they haven't found this one yet, luckily.

Thank you, Lis.  I worked on a whole new LJ layout and it's my new default icon.  : )  I can not get any more obessions, or my icon will be a mess.

And you still have to finish the fourth installment of the Coincidences Series In Harm's Way (EDIT: confused the challenger with the beta for a second there :sigh:), which I loved, btw.  Sounds like you could do with a little backup.  I'd love to have at least two betas if possible, anyway.

I'm a multi tasking nut, but I do think it's a good idea to have more than one beta.  : )  I always have at least two betas look over my work before I post. 

I've beta'd the first chapter of samanthafic's story, and I can honestly say that being a beta for her would not be a tedious chore.  : )
