How many of you fould this site through fan fiction dot net?

Oh! Me! I did!

I went there looking for something new to read and I stumbled on all the Spuffy fics.
To be honest, I must have gone through 20 other fictions before I decided to click on 'Forward To Time Past'. To me when I read the title it sounded lame.
It was only out of desperation for more that I clicked on it and was immediately hooked! then, when searching for it again on google, I found this place several months ago.

And then I found even more fantabulous SPUFFY fics!

*giggles* Not me. I didn't know there was such a thing as ff.net until long after I'd found the BSV.  If you don't know there's such a thing as fan fiction, I guess you don't know to go looking for it. :)

ff.net was one of the first sites that I found.  A few individual author pages, Sinister Attraction, some Spuffy Yahoo groups, and finally BSV :)

*thinks hard* Nope, not through FF.net. I was long on LJ when the BSV was founded and knew LJ Userbloodshedbaby back then and saw it getting started :)

Nope. I found the BSV years ago--just afer  the original Bloodshedverse opened, by following a link trail that started at All About Spike and somehow ended up at The House of Bloodshed and the Bloodshedverse.

I think i found this place through Sinister Attraction back in the day or Narcolepsy. I think Narc. was the first archive i found and i read everything on it with glee back in 2002-2003? and i used to love Spuffy Archives too.
I only come here and to Twisting the Hellmouth these days.. its home.

I found one of BSV's authors mentioned in some Buffy egghead book.  Okay, I live in a cave and I'd never even heard of such a thing as fan fiction.  I'd heard of Buffy, but never saw it until a couple of years after it was already over.  I'm lame.  I admit it.
If we want her to be exactly she'll never be exactly I know the only really real Buffy is really Buffy and she's gone' who?

I did what Always_jbj did. I followed a link trail years ago, when the original BSV site was still up. Though I think my link trail started with the Vampire's Kiss archive.

that is exactly how i found this place. (fttp is one of the best stories ever!!!) i was reading fanfiction before i knew what it was on ff.net, and then moved to here and elysian fields. i was one of them bad kids that was readin' super growed up spuffy fics when i was a wee little freshmen. ff.net is like weed, the gateway drug. ;)
Your heart will break, your tears will fall, but don't be suprised, if there is someone there, to catch you when you fall. Becuase you, yes you, are awesome.

I am a HP fanfiction author on ff.net, but I gave up on that site years ago. When I was hard pressed to find correct spelling even in the summaries, I started finding archives. Then, I moved past HP and have never read a Spuffy story on ff.net. I googled "Buffy/Spike fanficiton", I found a bunch of individual sites, and followed the trail of links until I finally discovered the BSV.

BSV found me through ff.net. Always_jbj read my stuff over there and asked me to post it here.

I knew of ff.net from another fandom, but I found the BSV when I first got into Buffy.  I never read Buffy fic on ff.net.  I think I was just searching for fanfic sites when BSV came up.

LOL I feel an incredible need to clarify-- I found you through an award site, Eowyn...I don't read on FF.net unless I'm linked there from an award site or other trusted source.

LOL, I don't blame you for clarifying. I didn't even read fic on ff.net when I posted there...

Yes!! I did. I was reading Because He Needs Me by msclawdia over there and then it came to an end :-( So I went searching and lo and behold... BSV. FF.net was also the first place I started posting stories (and there are some embarrassing ones still over there) but I've branched out because it just wasn't Spuffy-centric enough for me. Does anyone else still post there?

I do, FF.net was the first place I ever started posting.  I hear you on the embarrassing stories, my first ones ever are still on that site and they're so beyond embarrassing, but I don't have the heart to delete them.  I discovered Spuffy Realm later on, and then Bloodshedverse.  I love that there are so many sites dedicated to the Spuffy relationship.
When I say, "I love you," it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you, and I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy.

Same here on the "follow the link" - have no idea which site I first made contact with BSV from - As I used to read a lot at All About Spike, it may have been there.  I also have been reading at ff.net for a long time - one of the first Buffyverse sites I went to.  I don't read any other ff beside Whedonverse - and I am now exclusively devoted to Spuffy with occasional Angelverse.  I also found that another character pairing that I really enjoy is friendship between Wesley and Spike.

Anyone have a listing off Spuffy Only Sites?
