Slayme did. I'm sure after she gets home and sleeps tonight, she'll wake up refreshed and give us a write-up in her journal tomorrow.

I did attend. Just got back last night.  My personal report can be found on my LJ   http://slaymesoftly.livejournal.com/287486.html
My individual panel reports (as well as links to reports from the panels I didn't attend) will be available on the the Riters_R_Us LJ community as I get to them. I hope to have at least one of them up sometime tonight, and the rest completed in a few days. Neither of those are locked journals, so you should be able to go right to them to read and comment.

Go ahead and link, CoC. I'm sure readers will want to read as many different experiences as they can.

Hi all,

Here's Part I of my WriterCon report - http://clawofcat.livejournal.com/65459.html. It's unlocked on my LJ and you can also leave anonymous comments if you're moved to. I'm splitting it into three different posts, each chronicling one of the three days of the Con. My Saturday edition will be up tonight and I'll make another post here to let you know when it's available. Enjoy!

What?! There was a con here in Minneapolis???
Aug 09 2009 01:46 am   #8slaymesoftly
There was, Joyce. Not a con in the sense that there were visiting stars to schmooze with and stuff like that, but the third Writer Con, held by and for fanfic writers.  We were there Thursday night, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Radisson Plaza Hotel. Sorry you didn't know about it, you might have enjoyed meeting some of the authors you read. :)

I flew across the pond to attend Writercon and it was wonderful, although not sure doing that journey twice in 4 days was entirely sensible!

Sorry I missed it.  I definitely would have been there to meet and shake your hands for such wonderful works.

I know that all who attended WriterCon 2009 must have had a great experience  - Please posts your links, those of us who never get a chance to attend these events really appreciate being able to be their second hand.
