New vampire movies coming out... Creepy as hail!

OK, I just watched the previews for these and all I have to say is..... CREEPY!
I hope you have quicktime.
I'd like to see "let the right one in" but prolly not "grace".... Just sounds too creepy to me.

and what the hell, I'll add this one for the fun of it... But only cause I wanna see it :P http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/jennifersbody/
It's like if Cordy got possessed ^.^

I also found this site on the top 70 vampire movies ever made

http://snarkerati.com/movie-news/top-70-vampire-movies-of-all-time/

I was wondering if you could tell me if you've seen them and if they're any good.
The ones I wanna know about are: The Forsaken, Night Fright, Vamp, Vampyros Lesbos and The Addiction.
I don't know about the rest of them but those are the ones that sparked my fancy. I'd just like to know if they're worth the money ^.^

As for Lifeforce--it's not a vampire movie as it's listed on the site. It's about these aliens that suck electricity out of people's mouths... There's no biting or drinking of blood.
And as for Day Watch and Night Watch... I watched them when I was sick and under heavy medication so that may be a factor in the fact that I thought that they were the most disgusting films I have ever seen!

I've seen The Forsaken, I think I liked it at the time, but I can't for the life of me remember much about it.

If you want to see a very different treatment of the vampire story I can recommend "Let The Right One In" - a Swedish film that is recent -

I think I've seen The Forsaken. It had the guy who played Michael in Roswell and the woman who played Olivia from Buffy if this is the right one. Not a bad movie.

Yep, that's the one I was thinking of.  It had the guy from Dawson's Creek as well, I believe.

I completely forgot his name. Didn't he play in "Cursed"?

Have any of you ever seen the movie "Legend" with Tom Cruise, Tim Curry (haha... his last name's a spice) and Mia Sara?
It's a film about the devil (Tim Curry) and he sends out his Goblin minions to kill the remaining of the Unicorns in order to destroy the sunlight so he can take over the world.

It was one of my favorites when I was younger ^^

And just a question - > Have any of you ever seen a movie where Tim Curry did not play a bad guy?

He was evil in Clue, Legend, Charlie's Angel's, The 3 musketeers and Man In The Iron Mask. I've never seen him as a good guy.

I remember watching "Legend" with my kids.
I am not a minion of Evil...
I am upper management.

Now that I think about it, I think he's been evil in everything I've seen, but Tim Curry is just creepy to me, so it makes sense.

The one from Dawson's Creek that I was referring to is Kerr Smith, I haven't seen "Cursed," so I couldn't tell you.

Well...he was King Arthur in Spamalot. Not a MOVIE, but still...Tim Curry as Not A Bad Guy. And his guest-starring turn in Psych wasn't a bad guy, just a jerk. So maybe he reserves his Bad Guy-ness for movies?

And the only vampire movie I've ever seen is the REALLY old Dracula.

ETA: Oh,and The Lost Boys.

Since I'm an 80's girl I consider The Lost Boys to be a classic. No matter how cheesey it is, I love it. Not to mention I used to have a crush on Corey Feldman.

I only watched half of the old Dracula with Bela Lugosi. I got sooo bored with it. All he did was stare at people.

I always felt like Rocky Horror Picture Show was too odd a movie to truly have any good or bad guys and he was Dr Frankefurter in that...  Granted he does kill and eat someone, but ever since Spike, I've found myself taking a more lenient view of that crime :P
