A Star to Steer Her By is no longer on sites. It was an AH fic by Sadbhyl where Buffy's a pirate captain and William is captured while at sea and put to work. 

I tried the Wayback Machine, and it only has 33 of 58 chapters. If anyone saved the fic back when, let me know.

Would like to remind members that we have started a topic to make a listing of these missing or earlier sites for a resource for use with the Wayback Machine - If you have some time please check the forum and post this link.  Glad you have a good link - this story is one that I ran across in the Better Buffy Fics site but looks like most of the links are no longer good.
