Please post any bugs that appeared only after the move here.

<strike>Two things so far: 1) on the admin page only "manage reports" shows up. Everything else (membership, author validation, story validation, etc.) is missing.  2) when I tried to leave a review for a story just now, I got this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: stripos() in /homepages/42/d102106743/htdocs/bsv/review_box.php on line 54</strike>

Other than that - looks great. It's fast and reliable. It's wonderful to be able to click on a page and know it's going to pop up the first try - and quickly at that. :)

Ok, the admin stuff is there (could I have been on  the wrong site?) Will try the review and see what happens.
ETA - review was fine too. I must have been on the old site and not realized it. Sorry for the false alarm!

This is strange because they show up for me, the code is the same as on the old version, and the admin-setting for your account looks right. Can't see any reason why parts of the admin-menue should be missing for you. There is a slight possibility it may have to do with the DNS change though, so I'll wait a bit before ripping the code appart. Let me know if the problem is still there in a day or two, after the bloodshedverse URL works properly for this version of the site.

Very strange.

2) when I tried to leave a review for a story just now, I got this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: stripos() in /homepages/42/d102106743/htdocs/bsv/review_box.php on line 54

Whops, forgot to change the command to the one this php-version supports. That's an error that may pop up on other pages too since I honestly don't remember every place I used it. It's easy to fix though, so as long as you let me know where you run into it, I'll be able to take care of it quickly. On the reviews it should already be gone by now.

Hee! we cross-posted. Yeah, I think it was me the first time.  The review form worked fine just now, so that seems to be fixed. I rarely review on our site (I'm only following a few stories), so we'll have to count on others to let us know if any other forms have the same error.

Hehe, that was a good one. Glad to know the admin area stuff is gone, that one really had me stumped. The review problem was real enough, I probably just uploaded the fix before you tried the second time. (The stripos() problem is one I know about, I even remembered to adjust it on the pages for reading/posting fic, just forgot that the review page used the code in question too.)

Just bumping this up so it stays where people can see it for awhile. I'll keep it on the forum page for a while longer and then let it fall off if no one finds any more bugs.

Not sure if I'm writing on the right thread but I seem to be unable to reply to reviews. I write my reply into the box, hit submit, but the reply just disappears and it throws me back to the unanswered reviews section. Not sure if it's started after the move Dia mentioned above, but I've never had a problem with replying before. I tried doing it through both mozilla and explorer several times but nothing works. Maybe it's just me though? Has any other author contacted you about this?

No one has complained to me, but Dia should pick this up and maybe she can figure out what's going wrong.  When you say it throws you back into the unanswered reviews section, you mean with the one you just answered still there? Because it is supposed to send you back to the ones you haven't responded to yet.

Did you write a longer reply, if so, could you plese copy me the text you wanted to write - maybe there is something in the code that I blocked unintentionally, causing it to throw out the reply.

Slaymesoftly.... Yes, when it throws me back the review is still there. I even checked all the reviews and found that particular review unanswered.

Dia... The reply wasn't all that long. I'll message it to you. I have no idea why it's going wonky on me. *sigh*

YAY, found it! Should work again - we'd just cracked the 100,000 reviews barrier (as far as the id's in the database go), and in my infinite wisdom I'd set a content check on the review-number variable that said it has to be a natural number between 0 and 99.999 - see the problem?

Good thing you noticed it so quickly, and thanks for letting me know right away. :-)

Oh, so that's what it was. It definitely works now! :) You rock for sorting it out so quickly.
