Okay...so BHNM is almost over, and I'm in need of a Spuffy fic to work on. I'm working on White Magic, my Spara fic, but I need to come up with something else as well, something I can post here and the various other Spuffy sites I post...

What I'm asking is, does anyone have any idea that might be my sort of thing (dark, huge angst for spike, lots of drama and trauma and intrigue) that maybe you just don't have time to write, or don't want to write?

I'm begging for your ideas, people! Help me come up with something to be my next Spuffy fic!!

i've been talking to you, and one other person, about joint fics that i may be writing *part* of in the near future...but what i'm really looking for with this forum is just an idea....an idea i can sort of take and run with on my own....as my next fic of my own, yeah?

Ooo, see hear me out. Buffy gets vamped after coming back in S6. She just gives up and a demon gets his or her one good day. Of course Spike is all heart broken 'cause she is now one of the evil undead. Badness happenes to Spike at Buffy's hands, but then he grows some balls and beats the crap out of her. And you can go from there. lol. I would love to see Spike give up the road to redeption and turn all evil again minus the chip.

like Spike could be struggling with the ambiguity that's developed in his own personality and all since he's had the chip, and buffy could be drawing him back toward his old evil self...

it wouldn't be so much either one of them dominating the other -- not for long at a time, anyway -- but it could be kind of a consistent power struggle, you know? back and forth, give and take, and finally coming together in a more balanced relationship....

Evil vamp Buffy and Spike?  Surely they'd chain her up for a bit, keep her around, biting occasionally as she longs for death, and just when she thinks one of them will drain her- Spike swaggers in and snaps her neck cause he's all bored and stuff.  Just saying...

I know I'm not a frequent visitor here but I've read the whole thread, where you were talking about writing a fic with hurting Spike... much There's this idea I can't rid of and I'm pretty sure I won't write it myself, 'cos I'm working on something else right now... Okay, back to the topic.

I've been thinking about a post NFA fic. Somehow (don't ask me how) the battle against W&H was won but the war continues. Scoobies come to LA just to find those from the AI team who survived the fight completely broken. Angel doesn't know what to do with Connor and their old issues are back. Gunn blames himself for Fred's and Wes' death. Illyria suffers from the lack of followers and Spike... Here we get to the real pain and angst His head was badly injured during the fight, his brain was damaged (again!) and he became partially invalid - something is wrong with his leg and he can't walk without crutches. He takes over Wes' part as the head researcher, 'cos he can't do anything else. But he's unhappy. You know, like really unhappy. Would say he's brooding but...

That's it. I know it's kinda complicated but it has its advantages. Pain. Hurt. Angst. Physical and psychical damage

Same here, DoS... and that similar to the reason I hate Penelope Cruz, cause that whole debacle with Tom is stuck in my head too. And at the same time, I'm tired of hearing what celeb slut is sleeping with which celeb slut and making babies that are going to be screwed up.

Okay, how about do like one of my one-shots, except SPIKE gets the spell on him or the bezoar on him so that he's at Buffy's mercy. You would like that, hehe

Hold up people- IMO, TC was *way* better as Lestat.  I'm not talking about the actor, but his acting- he just succeeds tremendously in being evil- Lestat and in "Collateral."  And though he's really short, he looked good as Lestat- I believed him.  I didn't believe Stuart Townsend, and "Queen of the Damned" really sucked, IMO (excluding the soundtrack and Aaliyah's performance, which wasn't utilized very well).

Well I happened to like that movie and loved the soundtrack...

*stick tongue out at Scarlet* I liked Townsen, he HOT. But as far as acting goes them Tom wins, hands down. But I enjoyed both movies greatly. I do have grips about QOTD thought. Both soundtracks rocked, but I like Queen better.

Yeah, QotD was little to do with the book BUT since I hate Anne Rice, that was a big PLUS to me.

Hold up you guys- let me clarify.  I like Stuart Townsend- I thought it was way bogus when they cancled his show (what the hell was it called), I found it really interesting.  What I was trying to say that I like Stuart Townsend when he looks like himself, or a normal guy- not so much as a vamp.  Oh, and never heard the sdtk to "Interview..."

I'm a slave for those of the undead, lol. I mean he is hot when he's living but I was drooling on the laptop watching him as a vamp. *nummy*

Hmm.... what about a sequal to one of your other fics?? I personally wouldnt mind seeing a sequel to any fic you've written... particularly bloodblound????? At the end you did mention there might be a sequel basically about season 5 with mated Spike n Buffy..... I would be really keen to read that.. :nod:

How about a revamped, I mean... tortured Spike version of s2, when he's in the wheelchair?  What if Angelus and Dru decided to play little games with him, that he really doesn't want to play?  And Buffy stumbles upon him one night, and do gooder that she was, decides to help the beaten, broken vamp, especially since she's the one who put him in that chair, leaving him all helpless and what not to his insane sire and even more insane grandsire (you know, cause he was locked away with a soul for a century).  Huh?  How's about it?  And it's not like Spike will be broken forever, maybe there'll be vengeance of some kind, or feeling possesive- take your pic.

Apparently Drac fics were the in thing that season

Well "the movie" is kinda vague...  And the rest of the characters are the same in the film?  What about Pike?  And I later assumed that Pike would... I don't want to say "equate," but be like a Spike character.  Perhaps that's just me.

Originally, they wanted Spike to be American and with a Southern drawl. *So* glad they changed it.  And I could see Pike as being a loose blueprint for Spike.

Do you think Spike would have had the exact same appeal if they had made him Cajun?  JM would've still been gorgeous, but... I don't think it would have been as much as an appeal somehow.

Golden Buffy - I think Joss copped the idea for Spike from Oliver Twist - one of the main characters, who is sometime bad and sometimes good, is named Bill Sykes.  There's another character in the book named Giles.  Hmmm.

DOS - We need a rewrite of Season 7.  We need Dead Kennedy.  We need Buffy groveling.  We need Spike beating up - (so many choices, so little time) - heck, he can start with Giles and Angel and proceed as needed.  We need dead dead dead potentials.  Or better yet No Potentials Whatsoever.  We need Buffy in totally outre' outfits.  We need the spandex pants with the spots.  We need the Chicken of the Sea hairdos.  We want Angst.  We want Love.  We want Sex Sex Sex.  We may even want Andrew. 

Not Cajun - a Southern Gentleman. Like that refined accent South Carolinans have who've grown up "fancy". It's almost English......but they probably wanted a more defined drawl than that, but still.

It mentions under the part about Spike originally being Creole that Spike did audition with a Southern accent, yes, while they were still deciding what Spike should be.

I also laughed a bit ago when I read on either the trivia page for the show or James on IMDB that Liam is the Irish version of William. *gags* And they probably did that on purpose! *twitches*

They might have asked one of the other auditioners to do Creole.

Aye, it is. Basically the same name. LOL. I always liked William as a name. And there are other nice Liams. But then, I don't dislike Angel, so.....

I had a bunny hit me today that I don't have time to tend to (although I might try later but wouldn't mind a fine writer like you having a crack at first if you don't care I might do a version too later).

Here's the bunny:

When Angel looses his soul, Giles does a ritual that is supposed to cause Buffy to view segments of Angelus' life while in a dreamlike state.  Giles feels this will help her to see him as a vampire in need of killing.  Meanwhile the group try to figure out how to reinstall the soul so Buffy agrees.  

She "goes back" to the time William is brought into the group and witnesses his "training" finding herself in sympathy for the nice young man now turned demon and being put through Angelus' view of boot camp.  Dru would sense her presence but no one would understand her babblings and no one could see Buffy.

Fast forward to the ensouling and Buffy will see Angel (with soul) still trying to play the vampire game but killing criminals, etc. and still lusting after Darla and the life.  This gives her a different view of Angel with a soul.  Somehow (maybe Dru trying to materialize the presence she's felt) Buffy becomes present and Spike, not Angel, protects her until the group get her back to Sunnydale and her own time.

Buffy, ready to take on and take out Angelus, discovers Spike undusty but in the wheelchair for the first time.  (I was thinking the scene where he gives Dru the lovely necklace and she spurns it for the human heart from Angelus).  More angst and oowies for Spike in present time but with a sympathetic and wiser Buffy to see and care.

From there would be rescue, comfort, alliance and so on.

Okay......feel free just don't ANYONE accuse me of stealing the idea if I get around to doing a version myself *G*.
