Did anyone notice...?

Mar 26 2007 01:50 pm   #1delusional_harm

Hi, I was wondering if anyone noticed that the girl who we saw in 7x04 Help (Cassie) told Spike "She'll tell you. Someday she'll tell you." when he was saving her form the demon. Well, I heard it first a few days ago, though I saw the episode at least three times before. I've just thought that maybe no one noticed that either. You can just kill me if everyone knew and I noticed that recently =D

Shame shame shame

I noticed it the first time i watched the episode...and though i hadn't seen any further in season 7 at the time, i instantly knew what she was saying, it gave me hope for the spuffiness of the rest of the season (which the writers promptly dashed by never really fulfilling it until it was too late :P) lol...

love that line, though, that whole episode really...

*hugs*

Wow... tsk, tsk ;)  Did you notice Buffy's line in "First Date,"

"Why does everyone think I'm *still* in love with Spike?"

Just checking...

Because everyone knew you still were, duh. *ugh stupid non typing fingers*

What about when she's on the date with Wood, and she's eating the pears I think?

"Oh, my God! Mmm. Oh, my God. That might be the best thing I've ever had in my mouth." then Spike's standing right there. ROFL that just tickled me. My poor wittle brain.

Yeah, we know Spike had to have heard that comment! And for once, he didn't say anything....she was pretty embarrassed as it was that she said it out loud in front of Robin. :D

Yeah, we all heard it and knew. ;)  That line had me waiting the whole season to see when and where she'd say it, or if Joss would forget that they'd put that out there. One of the reasons I was such a spoiler whore. You could see on Spike's face that he knew what she was referring to, too.

I cried when Cassie died....just a little bit.

Me, too.  Another great character bites the dust.

Sorry, delusional you're the only one in the Entire Spuffy Universe who missed that cue.  How about when Buffy is singing that she needs a reason to carry on and guess who grabs her to keep her from dancing herself to death?

If we want her to be exactly she'll never be exactly I know the only really real Buffy is really Buffy and she's gone' who?

Just because I've missed one thing you don't have to be rude. Not that I'm not ashamed but if I ship spuffy since 2002 I can assure you that I know a thing or two about them.

I think she was teasing. It can be hard to tell without vocal intonations, though. :)

In the "OMWF" scene where Spike saves her from committing suicide, that wasn't so shocking. What was more shocking was that there were four people in the room who'd known her longer, had *souls* and was of blood relation to her, best friend to her, or viewed her as a daughter or sister, and they did *nothing* to stop it whatsoever.  Had Spike not been there, I guess she'd be Sweet's Queen/slave in hell about now.  Huh.

Actually, Scarlet, I think it's more likely she'd have combusted in front of them... not that that's better...

Sorry delusional - I was just being a smart ass.  My bad to coin a sunnydale phrase.

"She'll tell you. Someday she'll tell you."

Yeah, that was a great line, which again proves to me that Buffy meant it  She loved Spike, otherwise Cassie would have said "She'll tell you, but she won't mean it."  How lame would that have been?

Actually- she doesn't say if she'll mean it or not.  Furthermore, to love is not to be in love...
