help! bangelus archives? ok for those who made it through the topic header without convulsive fits or clawing their eyes out... anybody know of any? i used to go to a site that listed links to all kinds of buffy fanfic archives. that site has now gone the way of the dodo... Since I'm writing a bangelus story right now while I'm letting P&F simmer some, I need some possible places to post. Places that accept stories can be just buffy/angelus sites/comms or Buffy/angel/us sites/comms. I'm not picky as long as they allow buffy and angelus. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me. I already know of a couple of appropriate LJ comms and now I'm wondering if there are any archives out there that I might try. Oct 24 2006 11:22 pm #2DreamsofSpike don't know of a place, zoe, specifically for that pairing...but i'll at least read it and give you feedback...that pairing interests me, in its darkness... :) is spike *in* your story? ;) i think i'd very much like to read it, if you have a mailing list for it, put me on it :) Hey DoS, I'm gonna post it to my LJ (and I changed the icon so it shouldn't be a problem from that front) so if you keep an eye out i'm definitely posting it there. I'm about halfway through it now. it's incredibly graphic though...much moreso than anything i've written before. and kinky. I feel like i can go darker places more believably with this pairing. I agree with you. Bangelus can be incredibly dark - and there's none of that nasty "But he really loves her" or "I know its all gonna turn out okay" that you feel when reading a story with a Pre chip Spike. Gives a completely different feel to it, when you know Angelus can do anything at all. Sorry, no help about posting except generic sites like adultfanfic.net. Let us know what you come up with. Cas Oct 26 2006 12:58 pm #5LadyYashka Well, since I made it through the topic header without going into fits or clawing my eyes out, I decided to take a look around for you. Try this page: http://www.fangedfour.com/deepin/shipperlinks.htm It has several pages listed on it. This might be a good place to start looking. =)
Tomorrow may be hell, but today was a good writing day, and on the good writing days nothing else matters. — Neil Gaiman Thanks LadyY, that should be very helpful! I never realized before now how organized and awesome spuffy shippers are. Spuffy has more sites and more well designed and maintained archives than most of the ships out there. for anyone who's interested, I've posted my Buffy/Angelus fic, both on my Livejournal, and my personal website. If you'd like to check it out, here's a link: http://biteygoodness.com/fallenangels.html (I don't have it connected to the main site yet through links because I haven't had a chance to put a Bangelus menu page up yet.) This fic is complete. However it might turn into a series, very episodic and each story standing alone on it's own. I typed in Buffy/Angel fan fiction and added the word Archives later. I found two Spuffy sites. Not sure how I managed that. ;) Tomorrow may be hell, but today was a good writing day, and on the good writing days nothing else matters. — Neil Gaiman hahaha. Hell, even the BEST angelus sites aren't as good as the spuffy sites. There really needs to be an archive out there to fill that void. I know there are lots of people who write dark fics both with angelus and spike as the male lead, I'd love to see a good archive for that. | |||
