Does anyone know the full name of Sunnydale's Hospital?
I thought it was just Sunnydale General...can anyone confirm that?

So far, the sites I've seen just call it Sunnydale Hospital - such as the game guides for Chaos Bleeds, but I never played the game.
In at least one episode, it's called Sunnydale General Hospital. I'm pretty sure we see an establishing shot with the name on the side of the building.
For the establishing shot, it's probably in the ep where Faith comes out of her coma, or when she and Buffy are in the hospital at the same time. But I can't say for sure.

I did another search and saw it referred to as Sunnydale General Hospital on a lot of sites. Then, I found this page on a site I go to for some info.

It says under Notes near the bottom:
Sunnydale's local hospital (or one of them, if there's more than one) is Sunnydale General Hospital.
Thanks everyone - you Spuffies are sharp.
omg, lol - I'm watching America's Psychic Challenge and they're in an abandoned hospital in LA and it looks like the hospital they used for establishing shots - I just thought that was an interesting coincidence after looking at caps last night
I know a lot of people finished with this thread, but I feel like I just have to add this because of my obsessive watching of most of Buffy.
In Season Five episode "Shadow" when Buffy is beaten in the Zoo when Glory is summoning up the Sobekite snake-thing, she slips off injured. Then she's calling Giles at the Magic Box from a pay-phone in the hospital and calls it "Sunnydale Memorial". So I think it's Sunnydale Memorial Hospital, which looks very different from the hospital Faith woke up in, though the hospital in Season Three could have been the first floor of the one used in Season Five.
I dunno, just needed to put that detail out there.
Thanks Izzy - I was watching a Season 7 episode - apparently there's a Sunnydale Mental Hospital as well. It's also interesting how many many times members of the gang get seriously hurt but they rarely go to the doctor.
Well, either there's two hospitals in Sunnydale, or the writers weren't paying attention, lol.
Well, I read that SD is supposed to have between 30,000 and 35,000 people. That could certainly keep two hospitals in business.
*snort* Especially given the high mortality rate and the frequency of attacks.
I dunno--since most people don't seem to survive their attacks, seems like there should be more morgues than hospitals
But yeah, there are different wings in hospitals, so it was probably the same one. And hospitals can be remodeled...Meh.

The morgue was actually a wing of the hospital (I don't know which hospital, though - maybe each had their own morgue). Xander says it in "The Body" - I think Tara asks if he knows how to get to the morgue, and he says it's a wing.
But there definitely had to be two hospitals, regardless of what they looked like, because one is specifically identified as "Sunnydale General" (Out of My Mind) and the other is specifically identified as "Sunnydale Memorial" (Shadow). Unless, as I said earlier, there's only supposed to be one and the writers screwed up.
Undoubtedly the writers screwed up since it's the same building (same set). There would definitely be more than one morgue. The hospital would have one - the city would have one as part of the police. Funeral homes would have their own and be doing a land office business.
