call me strange but I'm looking for Spuffy male pregnancy fics.  Does anyone know of any good ones?

Wow...never.  But suddenly I'm intrigued.  I blame Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito for that.  Make it a challenge if nobody has heard of one.

I know of an unfinished fic by Rabid, but it's not male pregnancy. Spike takes Buffy to a demon place, and they switch sexes temporarily, have sex, and Spike ends up pregnant and still female while Buffy changes back. I can find the link if your interested.

Oh, yeah. I did read a Spangel where Angel was the one pregnant by rape and Spike and he ended up getting together because of it. It was pretty good. But I found myself wanting him to dump Angel for Buffy ROFL

Just a warning: I don't read slash so I haven't read any of the mpreg stuff. I knew about the Unconventional 'shippers page because that used to be one of the only places you could read Spuffy way before it became canon. Just pay attention to the characters listed. I remember some mpreg there unless they got pulled.

Check Mate really cheered me up and just for the hell of it, here's my challenge;

Knocked Up

season 6 Sometime after Buffy and Spike get physical. Anya decides that she wants Xander's baby. She casts a spell without telling anyone and par for the course for Sunnydale, the spell goes wonky, affecting the entire group and both Spike and Xander end up ... see above ; P

Can Have:

- the spell also affecting Angel after his tryst with Darla (I don't know if this adds up right but when has that ever stopped us? grin)

- Buffy and Spike having sex and Buffy freaking when she feels the baby move

- the boys experiencing the full spectrum of pregnancy issues; the morning sickness, the odd cravings, the mood swings, etc. and the girls not knowing how to deal with it

- "Xander/Anya/Buffy/Spike is feeling a little odd about being a daddy ... mommy ... whatever." being said several times

- Willow and/or Tara becoming pregnant as well

- Giles (if he's around or if he comes back or possibly on the phone) cleaning his glasses and saying "Dear, Lord," at least ten times

- Mature!Dawn being the only one who can calm/soothe the boys when they get in a mood

- the baby bringing Buffy out of her post-heaven funk

- funny, funny, funny, I want to laugh until I cry

- and, of course, a very Spuffy ending

Can't Have:

- Spike staking himself to have the baby (a la Darla) must be happy (can maybe use a spell to deliver)

- Anyone wanting to get rid of the pregnancies, they can be freaked but still wanting to go through with them

- Riley, unless it's for Buffy and Spike to flaunt their happiness in his face

That would be so much fun. Another bonus plus would be Spike and Xander bonding over their misery. I'm not sure if Anya's reaction would be happiness because Xander was getting the entire pregnant woman's pain and exhaustion, or sadness because she didn't get to practice the natural human experience. Both reactions are very Anya-ish.

If someone decides to take on ghost writer's challenge, please let us know.  It sounds so funny and I'd love to read it.

the bonding would be fun and Anya could do both, nine months is a long time.  i also just got an image of the group watching birthing videos for research and getting totally grossed out.

i think i watch too much discovery channel ; P
