Acceptable Substitute by pfeifferpack Tamara 02/11/2010 11:25 am One shot I've always thought that it would be great to have a sequel to this set in Season 8. Maybe have it where Buffy finds out Spike is alive and wants to go to him and Willow decides she needs to loose the memories and that her wanting to go to Spike is because she wants someone to love her and needs to get laid. Enter Satsu, to Willow the perfect choice because she isn't a Scooby , she's in love with Buffy and can be pushed to the side when she's no longer needed. Buffy being straight wouldn't be a barrier to Willow , she'd just make Buffy attracted to Satsu. After Buffy sends Satsu off to Japan (I think) after promoting her in a very hinky move because Satsu being around is awkward) something happens to destroy both the Riley and Satsu spell. Buffy realizes that all the pleasure she had in bed with both of them was spell induced and remembers how her real thoughts were (like what am I doing with him, and I don't like girls!) Though that part is negotible depending on how well it works. She realizes Willow was the one who violated her and her using of Satsu was all Willow's fault. Niori 11/10/2009 05:26 am One shot Oh stupid, stupid Willow. That girl has some serious control issues- I can actually see this happening. It certainly explains how anyone could want Riley. Willow was pushing him hard, only because he was normal. And this is the perfect reason for the epic angst that comes in season five, six and seven. I would love to see a sequel to this, where Buffy remembers/finds out what Willow did. When Willow goes off the magic deepend would be a perfect place, I think. Anyway, loved this. Thank you for seeing this as logical and in character. It seemed that way to me. At that time Willow was all about "fixing things" and she felt guilty for putting Buffy and Spike together in the first place. Thank you for reading and reviewing. K IT 11/18/2008 11:21 pm One shot Well, that puts a new spin on the whole season! Nice work. Thank you. Kathleen Oh dear. 'best friends to look out for her' indeed. :-s A lovely little piece. Thank you. I figured Willow was still miss fix it and she always was the one to push Riley. Kathleen This scenario sounds real plausible. Enjoyed. Thank you. Yes Willow did like to fix her messes usually making it worse. K All4Spike 11/16/2008 12:30 pm One shot So I came back for a re-read already as I loved it so much! :) Having now read the other reviews, I can echo the plea for a sequel with Buffy & Spike recovering these memories. Perhaps when the Tabula Rasa spell is reversed? Do you think it might be even more interesting if at the same time Buffy was suddenly able to access her memories of The Day The Oracles Took Back? I am making a few notes now for a longer sequel. I hadn't planned on it but having so many ask has made me come up with a few ideas that demand I explore. I don't know if I'll have her deal with that day (am working on another story that has that as an aspect BTW and hope to be posting it before too long). I love letting Buffy in on that though. Probably won't over burden Buffy in this one however....too much to forgive and too many betrayals to deal with already. Thank you so much! Kathleen I know this is meant as a "one shot," and it works perfectly as such - but it sure screams for MORE - have enjoyed all your new "small works." Thank you. Now that I am back in writing mode I hope to keep at it. This will get a sequel....likely a longer continuation. I am working on some ideas now. Thank you again. Kathleen great but sad twist to the series - NICE WORK Thank you! Seemed a possible way to twist this one. K Oh my gosh, I love it!!! I'm a Something Blue-based Spuffy fic addict and this one was great! Totally believable too. Willow and her spells... Thing is, did she think about Spike? I mean, I don't see how her second spell will keep Spike from remembering and I doubt he could keep that quiet! Imagine... Spike saying things about their time together and the looks she gave him, Willow uncomfortable, Xander not being able to deny it, Buffy totally confused... HAHA! THEN ALL OF WILLOW'S RASH DECISION MAKING WILL BE REVEALED! oh, and then there can be Spuffiness! Yup, I so see it in my head! Anyways, love it!!! Thank you. So glad you saw this is believable. Truth has a way of being found out. K Kicki 11/15/2008 02:39 pm One shot All4Spike said it all, only left out "I loved it!". Can´t wait for the sequel. Hurry, please! Thank you! Will be working on that sequel soon. K NovaBlaster 11/14/2008 08:02 pm One shot Very interesting and considering how Willow was she would definatly do that. It would be interesting to read the possible sequel to this, of course there are several scenarios from which Buffy could learn the truth. All excellent ideas! I was going to just leave this one to everyone's imagination but I've had so many requests for a sequel that I will write one. I am delighted it struck a chord in the readers. Thank you for your thoughtful response. Kathleen How dare Willow! Just can't help herself interfering, can she? I wish she'd get what's coming to her - maybe you should fix it! LOL Lots of people want me to fix this so A sequel will be written. In her defense she WAS trying to fix what she thought was her mistake and she was always pushing Riley....yeah, you're right she was way out of line LOL. (I thought so too of course, just teasing) Thank you. Kathleen goddess_hecate 11/14/2008 06:07 pm One shot They would have been so good together!!! Grr silly Willow. That's ok, we all know who gets his girl in the end... And it explains her sudden interest in Riley IMHO. Willow was trying to fix her "mistake"...sigh, silly is right. Kathleen bitchee 11/14/2008 09:58 am One shot Sigh... Loved it love all your stuff. More please the longer the better! Tee hee....I've got 8 long ones in the works but won't post till they are written (WIP's tend to bite me in the butt when it comes to posting). BTW....LOVE that you are back in the game too...it is a mutual admiration society as I love your stories too. Thank you! Kathleen nichole 11/14/2008 08:27 am One shot hey great story. u really have to revisit this at a later date because those two deserve to pay for what they did. i hated how they always thought they knew best about her life. Hmmm..makes u wander if maybe the fact that she let them was another spell because frankly Buffy worried toooo much about how her friends and Watcher would react to her choices. Did she even worry that much about what her own MOM would think. That's a great point! After she left town (at the end of S2 when she had to send Angel to hell) and then helped Angel when he came back from hell no one seemed to trust her to make personal decisions at all. I thin you're right .... it could have been the work of SOMEONE to keep her "out of trouble". I have had several requests for a continuation of this and will do so. It may be a short while but I can see the need for closure. Kathleen what she is spose tp be with spike not riley he is stupid I agree she belongs with Spike. We all saw how that worked out with Riley, it made it harder for her to trust anyone. Once more Willow's spell had bad results. K SuperNova 42 11/14/2008 02:35 am One shot Will there be sequel were Buffy discovers what Willow and Xander did, like after she is revived and remembers the Powers showed her what the two did. I might revisit this one in time but it may be a while. Thanks for reading and liking it enough to be interested in more. Kathleen All4Spike 11/14/2008 02:00 am One shot Now this is so believable it reads like a missing scene. Absolutely typical of Willow & Xander! Thank you. Yes Willow was into "fixing things" at that time wasn't she? Kathleen | |||
