Dia de los Muertos by pfeifferpack Wonderful story - it's so good to see you writing again - I'm happy for you. Thank you! Me too! I had feared my muse had gone for good there for a while. Kathleen What in ingenious method to get Buffy out of her rut and actually see what is happening. Did she really not think that Spike wasn't there to care for Dawn when her thoughts regarding the Scoobies laid it all out? Spike was the only adult even if he doesn't always act like it. I like the way this ended on a hopeful note just right. Thank you. I'm glad you approve. I figured Buffy would have to be in a position where she kinda of had to stay and listen and not interrupt and what better way than to be eavesdropping. I doubt Buffy was thinking of much beyond her own pain at that point so she had to see things beyond herself for a bit of perspective. Thank you again. Kathleen Really enjoyed the Spike Dawn interaction. Lovely story :) Thank you! Sorry it took so long to reply. K This is lovely - and I like how you give some of the history of not only Dia de los Muertos but the other religious and cultural observances. NICE with Dawn and Spike dynamics - Thank you! I wanted people to have an idea of what it is about, what it means to those who celebrate. Glad you enjoyed it. Kathleen | |||
