So glad that he remembered but I'm so glad that he had that little scene with Xander. Never liked the line that Spike had in the series. Of course it was "the happiest moment of his entire existance" when he knew that Buffy was alive. This is a wonderful chapter and I'm looking forward to their Magic Box meeting and Buffy telling them about her and Spike above anything else for now. They can change the future now and Tara doesn't have to die. I don't want Tara to die again. Wonderful chappie, thanks for posting.

Awesome story. I'm completely in love with it.What a marvelous way to irradicate all the misery of season 6. Love the dialogue between Spike and Buffy and the love scenes are just beautiful, so much emotion, love and caring between them.The interactions between the other characters are really well done also. It's just lovely, truly. I especially liked the scene where Buffy is talking to herself and justifying changing past history and relationships with the line about her friends always tampering with her life; well said!I'm very much looking forward to the next chapter; can't wait!!!!

Ohh, this is looking good so far, very promising. (Ok, so I have a weakness for timetravel fics anyway, but still.) The bit about the dream was a clever idea, especially the physical manifestation. Even in the BtVS verse, we never saw real time-travel, so I can see the characters having a hard time to simply believe it if someone told them they are from the future. After all, even if many of us love the idea of it, trying to think about it too much - or god beware, apply logic to it - will make your head explode. But with the dream, and the burn-mark, you gave Buffy something to back up her explanations, something to build on. Well done.

One small suggestion if I may. To me, the use of asteriks as emphasis was very jarring. When you spend a lot of time on the internet, you pretty much accept it as a general truth that whenever you see text encased in asteriks, that's meant to be an action. *smiles* See. So while it is possible to use it for emphasis, it also made me hesitate whenever it showed up. Maybe it would be easier to bold things for emphasis (since italics are thoughts). The html-code is like the one for italics, just replace the i with a b.

loved the chapter, loved the sweetness between them, and also spike's demanding answers..the dream was touching and intense, i totally loved it...can't wait to see more, love...

oh, and a little note from your beta, i went back and double-checked...it *does* say "peckish" -- which is correct, so...not sure about the other comment...? :P
