Chapter: Chapter eight

great update - It will be very interesting to see how you treat her recovery - let's say, her struggle to take back her life - and the crossroads with Spike is already changing him.  Intriguing idea this connection by blood but also more than just blood.  And what is this demon that is working inside The Slayer?  Looking forward to finding out where you take the characters.

P.S. - like your Willow too -

Glad I had a couple of chapter to read - the only thing bad about reading excellent new works - is that I always hate not being able to just read the work all the way through -
Spike is torn because of his nature, his need to assert his evilness because being near Buffy makes poor guy go all protective and sentimental. When he's near her, he can't help himself, he has to take care of her. I'm glad you like the connection, it's just as you said- it is about blood, but it goes further than that, and it's one of the things that will help Buffy heal. Ah, the demon- you'll find out soon, and the connection between the two of them will be crucial in getting rid of it. *winks*

I had fun writing Willow! :D

I know what you mean! lol I'm a very avid reader myself, and it sucks to wait for the updates. The least I can tell you, I will finish it!!! :) Thanks for a great review, nmcil!!! :)

Makes a change for Buffy to be the abused person rather than Spike. I'm glad that she's safe for now and due some well deserved comfort from our rather torn vampire. I hope that Buffy's vision in the mirror is a hallucination brought on by self loathing rather than a real monster residing in her body - perhaps a trace of Spike's own demon? Thank you for this intriguing fic I shall be watching out for more chapters with interest.
Spike is definitely torn, but the minute he's with Buffy, he can't help but be William all over again! Wooo, should I tell you? Hmm, okay I'll tell you... it is a real monster! I promise there will be more, next two chapters are already written, just need to be beta'd. Thank you for a lovely review Eternal_red, I appreciate you taking your time to let me know what you think!!! :)
