This is a very good wake up call to Buffy - it will make her think very seriously about her Slayer life and the power that being a Slayer gives her. Being first The Slayer and now the leader of the other slayers is what has always driven her, even as she hated being the Slayer in her first years, had she ever really gone back to the normal life she fancied so much, I don't think Buffy would ever have been satisfied as just a normal human. This is also why I don't particularly care for Spike reverted back to a normal human male. Losing all that power and not having it effect you in the most profound way - I don't think that it is a realistic treatment.
Very much like the relationship that you are building between these Reem and Buffy. Reem is right, sometimes you do have to rely on others to help get you through the troubled times.
